I have a terra cotta planter that needed a saucer. This one is too small. I went by another reviewer who said the insider measures 4 1/4 inches. The overall is 4 1/4 inches. The inside measures 3 inches. Don't know why this basic info isn't included in the description.

Worth it!
I first bought one for my 4 inch pot and it was perfect, so I bought another one for a 6 inch pot. That one fit a little more snug, but it still worked out!

Just as described, we use this as a water dish for our tort, does not take up a lot of room and very easy to clean, shallow enough we don’t worry about the little guy drowning
