I wanted to protect my paper memorabilia that I have been acid free sleeves and this box is perfect.

Terrific product for archival storage of family documents that aren't standard size. I chose this particular item for its clamshell lid which I felt would be much easier to open than an archival box, especially for items that are accessed often. This folio style box definitely fit the bill. Features include sturdy construction with metal corners, a lid that is heavy enough to stay closed, and a convenient arched tab on the side that allows for easy opening. The interior is also generously sized to allow 9" x 12" documents to lay flat, instead of being squished along the sides. The interior height is 1 ¾ . I've loaded an assortment of documents in the two boxes and appreciate how this dimension fits well on a standard bookcase. The sturdiness of the product also means that it can be easily stacked with out fear of crushing. Will definitely buy again.

As advertised. This is a well-constructed, museum quality cardboard archival storage box. Not flimsy, very sturdy. I have several of these that I frequently open to either review or add new items. Not only a good performer, but these are easily stackable given uniform design, heavy-grade cardboard and metal corners. The only knock: a mild odor associated with the protective chemicals used when the box used. But it dissipates after 2-3 weeks. Highly recommend.

I'm trusting these boxes as acid free storage for antique family photos, some of which are mounted on black board about the same dimensions. The boxes feel very sturdy.

Good quality and very reliable for my archival photography

I purchased these for NY Newspapers my husband, a paramedic who responded to 9/11, picked up the days after the attacks. I was cleaning out a closet and found them in a bag. There are three newspapers - Daily News, NY Post, and Times. I was able to comfortably fit all three in the box. The corners have a metal edge, which is helpful. the box is slim and hopefully protects the papers. Only time will tell. The use was easy. Just open, place them inside, and close it back up. Overall, happy with the box and the ability to organize precious items.

Perfect for photos genealogists and family historians.

At first I was hesitate to purchase this as I wasn’t 💯 percent sure what I'd end up actually be getting delivered, as far as quality and sturdiness. Especially being a bit pricey than your average craft store or any other store for that matter so I thought. Also considering since I’d never bought something that was in such need for as this item. So after pressing the “Buy-It Now” key. I decided to do some price comparisons and boy was I wrong. In fact my local store were far more expensive and some were half the size. So the whole pricey concern was put to bed real quick. And to my total satisfaction and happiness what was delivered was more than high quality and sturdiness, it was peace of mind and reassurance!! Since my reason for this item was to insure the protection and longevity of a very pricey collectors item that was autographed and extremely rare. So let’s just say big lesson was learned about my first storage/keepsake HIGH QUALITY BOX purchase. ie IF YOUR GOING TO INVEST IN RARE COLLECTABLES, DON’T GO CHEAP ON WHAT WILL KEEP THEM VALUABLE!!! I use this to hold my grandfather's original World War One diaries, and it does the job. But I would suggest the producers expand their line to accommodate smaller objects and papers, since the diaries will rattle around in this and could well become messy. To put them into an internal plastic or paper bag would rather defeat the purpose of this box.

These boxes are very high quality. I think that they will be very good for storing documents. I am quite happy with the quality of the items that were sent to me.
