X-Men XXL by Jim Lee Hardcover – October 22, 2019

This book is huge! But I really enjoy the collection of art put together for it. I put an actual comic on the cover for size comparison just to give an idea of how big it is. Quality paper and binding is top notch. Would definitely recommend to any Xmen or Jim Lee fan.

This is a great collection. Super high quality paper, the art isn't stretched at all to fit the size. Just be aware, this thing is HUGE. I didn't notice the dimensions when I ordered (or they weren't yet updated), but I've attached a picture for scale (Hush hardcover Trade, Absolute Sandman in picture for scale).

Absolutely thrilled to finally get an oversized collection of Jim Lee's run on Uncanny X-Men. The paper quality and printing are great, and I'm glad they did not recolor the issues. My only real complaint is that the three issues of the X-Tinction Agenda crossover were not included.

I was worried that this book being extremely over-sized would be too much of a magnifying glass for the art, but Jim Lee's artistic detail stands up very well, making this collection look consistently amazing. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I love this book, the quality is fantastic and its size makes it a more immersive comic book reading experience. Also on that note, this thing is huge, so make sure to rememberer that when you buy it :-)

Collection of some great stories.

They obviously scanned printed copies of the comics or photocopies or something-- the lines look 'blown up' like you took a comic and put it on a copier and blew the pages up---ratty ink lines and old flat colors like they originally had in the comic size issues. Looks awful. No way is this worth what Marvel's charging for it when IDW is about to do the Jim Lee X-men art edition here in a couple of months. I'll wait and get this when it doesn't look like this crap. I returned the copy I bought.UPDATE: The Jim Lee Artist Edition is out from IDW and on Amazon. I bought it. It's the book you want... not this one. This one's just bad... big, but not good. Get the Artist Edition. It's gorgeous.

Do I have to say more!?...Amé el Libro!, me esperaba que fuera grande, pero nada te prepara para ver ésta obra maestra en vivo, y sobre todo en el tamaño en el que fué dibujado!... Me gustó que no sea la versión recoloreada, sino los colores originales, porque así las tintas de Williams lucen MUY bien sin pelearse con el color...--No se si pido demasiado pero me hubiera gustado que la portada y los posters fueran desplegables!.. y no reducidos en las páginas " a que quepan"... pero ya es buscarle detalles a una GRAN recopilación!...Si eres fan, no te va a desilusionar!.. RECOMENDADO!!

Big X-Men Big Jim lee!

First of all let me start off by saying that whoever packaged this book did an amazing job. It was swimming in air pockets and was so well packed it could have been thrown off a building and still been okay.This monster comic book of Jim Lee’s work is just stunning. There’s no other words for it. From the beautiful hardback cover to the pages inside. It’s an amazing way to look at his work. The quality of the printing and artwork is second to none. Just to give you an idea of the size of this book I’ve included a picture of it next to a sheet of A4 paper. It’s massive.The book was in absolutely perfect condition with no marks or anything so I couldn’t be more happier with it. Thank you so much. 👍

Excellent material, I got some of these as magazines, during the multicover page frenzy where you could buy the same comic with different cover pages.I removed one star due to the shipping, not a single protective bubble in the box. The only protection was the plastic bag of the comic itself inside the cardboard box.. Fortunately the book is tough due to its size and did not arrived damaged.

Nothing prepares you for the size (and weight) of this book. It is HUGE. I haven’t been so impressed with a collected anthology of comics since Neil Gaiman’s Sandman run was released in Absolute format. This book dwarfs Absolute and Omnibus formats. Not so much a coffee table book as an actual coffee table in itself.If you are a fan of Jim Lee’s 90’s artwork in particular or interested in comic book art in general, then this is a reproduction of the original X-Men comics at a size that is actually larger than the original art pages. Subtleties of line, form and tone can often get lost or can appear muddy when reproduced and reduced for publication. Not so here. Admire the artwork in all of its epic, original glory. Perhaps not the most practical sized book to handle but amazing (or should that be 'uncanny'?), nevertheless.
