Artemis Fresh Mix Small Breed Adult Dog 4lb

Dog didnt seem to like it too much. Its too hard to find any where else but costs too much to ship it. I guess Im going with another brand.

Okay so we are only on meal two with this food. I will update after a month of eating it. Thus far I have a feeling that this will be the food for her, and I will switch to the 30# bag after the change is completed and things are going smoothly.Obviously I have not noticed any benefits (as we are still switching) but I will say this which makes me believe this is a keeper.My 11# Bichon Frise has been on Royal Canine Mini Puppy, as I am a first time pet parent, and was told its a great food to be on. This entire time she has HATED her food, and I would have to get it wet in order for her to eat it. I was directed to dog food analysis dot com, and I believe this was a four or five star food, so I decided to give this food a try.It finally arrived, and I gave my little Bailey a few pieces as treats, and she took them from me dry (a great sign). I then made her dinner and left the entire bowl dry, and she ate it, but what was interesting to me is at first she picked out the dry Artemis Fresh Mix and then came and looked at me as if to say "more of THAT stuff please"... so I wet the old food and she eventually ate it.All in all I believe this will be a keeper, and I will update after she has been on it for a month or so.Update:We have officially finished the first bag of Artemis Fresh Mix. Since I have purchased the 15lb bag. There are a couple of differences since we switched over.1. Bailey had THE WORST tear stains with the old food. They were so bad that when i used tear stain remover NOTHING happened... Since the switch her tear stains are down to a minimal, and I think it may be the tear stain from the prior food having to be wiped off, but I would not know for sure at this point.2. Bailey finishes her food. She still mostly picks at it throughout the day, but she finishes ALL of her food by the end of the day.3. Prior posters commented on less poop. I have to say we have had a complete opposite experience. This could be a result of the fact that she eats more, but it is hard to say. Also we still have mushy poop... I am not sure where this comes from. Since it has always been that way and she is completely healthy, I do not pay mind to this issue, nor does it deter me from continuing to purchase it. We may switch after this bag to another healthy brand to give her some variety and if there is any difference I will post it, but at this time I still love this food for her and I highly recommend it.

ive been feeding my dog artemis since he was 5 months old. you have no idea how much i love this food!!!i have a maltese boy that was growing way too slow when he was a puppy. 1oz every 3 weeks. the vet told me it was normal, and it was because he was going to be a small one. no more than 4lbs full grown she said, even though the breeder told me he would probably be between 7 to 9 lbs - i asked for a normal size maltese, not teacup (since those are nothing more than underbred dogs)Anyways! i worried.At puppy school we were all referred to a dog nutricionist and since i was worried about his growth i had an appointment with her.it was the best thing ive done.she reccommended Artemis, and i was happy to see they have a Small Breed formula.We started with the puppy one, and when he turned one i changed to the adult one.oh what a difference. my puppy grew strong, to the weight the breeder told he should be.he also started going potty #2 only twice a day as opposed to 3x with the other dog food. oh... and his poop.... it used to stink up the whole apartment (he is wee wee pad trained)after i changed to artemis sometimes if i don't SEE it, i dont know he went (so i REALLY recommend this brand if your dog uses the wee wee pad for both #1 and #2.he has never had tummy issues and loves his food!!!!i vote artemis for the best dog food in the world!!!!so happy it is now available on amazon. not every pet store sells it around here!!!!!

I'm sure this is great food for my chihuahua. I was so hopeful he would like it due to the wonderful reviews I read. Alas, he has absolutely no interest in it. I wish it were not so. This is why I have rated it 2 stars.

My chihuahua wouldn't eat it.For some reason still only eats the Royal Canin--seems like we're stuck with that.

My chihuahua loves this food. I alternate between this and Natural Balance most of the time. Out of the 2, she definitely prefers this one. It's a little on the expensive side, but I don't mind paying it b/c of how good it is for her.

I had to change to a different dog food because they are no longer making the old product. My dog usually eats at night, but she attacked these right away when I gave them to her. She is a schnoodle.

The dog likes the food and will eat it without hesitation. Usually I mix dry food with wet food but she eats this with or without wet food. The ingredients are good, no grain, corn or fillers.
