OttLite Vero Table Lamp in Brushed Nickel

The lamp was easy to assemble. I like the looks. It works. Who knows for how long. Another floor Ottlite lasted for at least 15 years and put out nice white light for reading and sewing. The lamp is another story. It gives off an awful florescent green. The color of the light makes my living room furniture look spooky.I can't deal with packing it up, so I am going to keep it until I find another modern style that has good light for reading. From the reviews, a lot of people love it. Maybe I got a lemon. But the light turns everything green.

This Lamp cam with splotches all over the heads finish and it overall seemed very cheaply made. The metal it was made out of showed signs of rust on the inside of the back end cylinder. Overall for a desk light it was moderate to not ok on lighting. It really did not do a great compared to much cheaper versions. Trust me on this rating as well as the rating on the other floor standing model this thing is not work the money.

I really like this lamp, HOWEVER, there was some corrosion (pitting) on the small barrel that covers the starter (the small end that looks light a weight). There was rust inside that piece. I have returned the first lamp I ordered and I am am trying to acquire a defect free lamp from the manufacturer now for the second lamp I ordered from Amazon (it also had the same defect). This is a manufacturer problem not an Amazon problem. The replacement from OttLite direct also showed corrosion and rust. If I can finally get a defect free lamp here I WILL LOVE IT!!! I already own one purchased about three plus years prior. It is a beautiful and very functional lamp!

this is the cleanest most natural light you can get ..the bulbs last a long time and it's well made. I wish that it came in a large variety of colors ... I've been a huge fan of OttLite because of the quality ... I've had 5 OttLights and they have all been great ... I've has no issues with them ...

Movement could have been more optimal

I own 3 of these lamps and would recommend them for anyone who is looking for a solid work light for their desk top. It gives off a very clean white light. My work requires me to compare printouts to a computer screen all day long. This light does not bounce back off of paper, and i am able to focus up and down between my printed spreadsheets and my computer screen easily without needing to adjust my eyes. Worth the $ and the bulb lasts over a year.

6 month lifespan. They should be recalled. I also bought the floor model. I won't be surprised if it dies next. Expected better from Ott.

I really love the lamp light on these. I purchased 3 but had to return 1 because the light bulb won't stay lit.

I install the lamp as shown on the paper and everything ok . It was fery easy to install the counterweight.
