MinecraftLight Up Torch

I bought this for my son, who wanted to decorate his room as a Minecraft room. This works as both decor, and as a toy. He can take it down, carry it around and play with it, use it as a flashlight, and hang it back up on the wall when he goes to bed at night. The only thing that would make this product better is a switch option that makes it turn off automatically after 30 minutes so we could use it at night and I don't have to sneak in his room to turn it off after he goes to sleep. We have had this for several months now, and it looks (and works) good as new! Battery life is what you would expect from any flashlight being used often.

I ordered 2 for my daughter’s Mine Craft themed bedroom. They are super cute. The only negative is that in order to mount torch-like on the wall, there is a tab that pulls down, and on one of the lights, this was broken on arrival.I contacted the seller and they immediately agreed to and sent a replacement. Very responsive!I am concerned that having to move the lights every so often to change the batteries may be too much for these mounting tabs, but time will tell.Keep in mind that these are really night lights, not reading or task lights, and that they take 3 AAA batteries each (I’m using rechargeables). No timer, so you’ll need to make sure you turn them off because they do drain the batteries pretty quickly.Overall, nice product and is a perfect fit for the Mine Crafted theme!

Love this!!! I was hesitant to buy this because of all the reviews about it being an over priced flashlight. Those reviews mislead me. Yes, this torch does emit light similar to the way a flashlight does, it would only make sense for it too though. It is made completely from a very durable plastic. My kiddos have dropped these from the top bunk, had sword fights and used them during mining expeditions throughout the house. They are very durable, not a chip in the plastic or the paint. These torches are used for a minimum of 8 hours a day, they are also night lights. After having them for over 2 weeks the batteries are finally beginning to show some wear.While it does light up like a flash light because it is electric, it is not nearly as bright as a flashlight. It bring enough light into a little guys room to scare off the creepers but not keep them or the cat awake. ;)We love these lights. They were a good use of money, my kiddos thoroughly enjoy them and we definitely do not feel like we were ripped off. The quality is worth the price. The price is not too bad.

Pretty good item. I'm a 19 year old gamer and I bought this because I needed a little bit of extra light when i'm gaming in my pitch black room. I rather use this little torch than turn on the 4 ceiling lights. It saves my parents A TON of electricity. Keep in mind this is NOT bright enough to substitute for a bed side lamp or a flashlight. Not even close. This is the kind of light you would use to aid you in your night time reading, late night paper work/homework on a desk, dim campsite lighting, or a bedside night light for a child. This torch is pretty dim so it limits to what it can be used for. Oh yeah, and I hung the torch by hammering a nail into a wall and then hanging it. Anyways, this torch makes a PERFECT gift for any person who likes Minecraft. I was disappointed that upon taking it out of the package there were a few small scuff marks on the paint. I mean it's no big deal nor was it obvious, but I would've liked to seen it in mint condition. Of course like any review, there are not just PROS but CONS as well.Pros:- Durable plastic design- Sturdy- Portable even if you hang it- Looks just like a real Minecraft torchCons:- Might be too big for a child to hold one handed.- Switch is on the side facing the wall when hung. Having it on the side would've been perfect for easy access.- Flame (top) is not removable so once the light bulb dies it's game over.- 45 degree flap will eventually break. The flap allows the torch to be hung at 45 degrees but the flap is supported by bendable plastic which will eventually break off if repeatedly used.

I think this is a cool Minecraft gift for the special someone in your life that is a Minecraft fan. Great for kids because the light turns off after being on for a certain amount of time. It is a push button so it is easy for them to operate, Puts off a good amount of light. I probably should have bought more than one because whenever one of them is playing with it the other one wants it. We've had it about a month and it still works, so it had outlasted every other flashlight we have let the kids touch. I believe it takes 3 aaa batteries which were not included. I recommend to parents that you open the box and pop some in before gifting because you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment and it probably would have been better if it just worked for my child right out of the packaging.

My 7 year old son is loving this. It has a great glow that is perfect for night time adventures. It is bright enough to use for reading, but not BLUE bright LED that is going to keep you up after you turn it off. Not sure how durable it will be. it's plastic, but what can you expect. So far battery life seems adequate. It did take about 3-4 weeks shipping and missed being an Easter present. But I'll blame COVID-19 for that.

The gift of all gifts for your little Minecraft fan! We actually got these for both our 9 year old AND our 16 year old. We mounted our little guys on the bed above his wall. Our older son uses it for cosplay. It gives a nice gentle light at night while just looking AWESOME! This is a great gift that can last a long time. The ability to mount it on the wall means it has less chance of getting broken, if you have rough play kids. Get this ! Look cool!
