Good feeling on the bat, durable, but too heavy for my use
These balls are good if there is at least some level of protective gear. We play cricket on a baseball pitch and this ball is far too bouncy (comes up to the head from a good length) on it. It's a lot better on concrete but still very heavy and can seriously injure someone if hit on the head or fingers without protection. That aside, the ball is very very fun to play with on concrete if helmets are used (or if only slow/spin bowling is done). The feeling on the bat is perfect and it is easy to grip for a bowler. It's also possible to extract good turn from the ball. Durability is top class. To sum it up, don't buy this if you're planning to play without protection with fast bowling. I would recommend something under 100 grams for that. Vicky's lighter balls are very good but pretty much unavailable in the US. If you're playing on concrete with protection, then it is a great ball.

Great for backyard/park games
Awesome spin on hard ground and they still have some bounce on soft ground. Perfect for casual play as they won't hurt like a real cricket ball.

More off White than expected
Also loses color pretty fast, and slightly lighter than a normal heavy tennis ball.

Perfect for my non-traditional use
I have a pure white down parka. To dry it, manufacturer suggests placing in a dryer with tennis balls so it remains puffy. Do you know how difficult it is to find white tennis balls (very difficult). These worked beautifully, particularly because they are heavier than tennis balls. They do have black writing on them, and I didn’t want that to transfer to my coat, so I placed each one in a white sock to insure the writing wouldn’t bleed. Not a traditional use, for sure, but they were perfect for me!!

Fake!
I have never written an one-star review. I felt very compelled to write this review because I was so disappointed by this product and felt cheated by the manufacturer. In the name of "Hard Tennis Ball", what they are instead selling is "Rubber Ball" which you can purchase in India for a dollar (in fact the entire set for less than 2 dollars).I have played hard tennis ball tournaments for years and the balls we use for those tournaments are top-class and they last more than 2-3 years. But these Nivia balls bounce way too much (since they are made of plain-rubber materials), weigh less, does not last longer.I was hesitating a lot before placing the order because they cost $20 but I am now even more disappointed because I feel completely ripped off. I can't even return this item because I did not open this box until last week.
