The ultimate FPS controller
I've had all three generations of this nacon, loved all three. This is definitely the best. I don't bother with the software, i just remap the under buttons. The under buttons on my first 2 nacon controllers went bad after about a year of pretty much only playing call of duty. A year is much better than the couple of months I've gotten out of 2 scuf vantage 2 controllers this year. I'm glad to be back on the nacon after trying the new generation of scuf. I've had every generation of scuf since 2015. Not one scuf has lasted more than 4 months. Nacon isn't perfect, but it's built much stronger, and it's a great value. Astro c40 felt well built, but it glitched on me in the first week and i returned it. Can't wait to see the new ps5 controller, heard it will come with buttons underneath. Update 1.2.21 Controller has performed perfectly. Once I got used to using all 4 fingers underneath the controller, I didn't want to use any other controller. If you like 1st-person shooter games, you have to give this controller a chance. One of my favorite things I figured out with the bottom buttons is to assign the L3 run button in call of duty, onto one of the underneath buttons. Saved my left thumb! This controller unlocks a whole new level of FPS gameplay once you spend the time to train your brain to use the under buttons instinctively. Advanced Warfare, BO3, and Infinite Warfare pretty much require this controller to be able to properly experience what is truly possible in those games. 2025 update My first revolution unlimited that I bought back in 2021 finally broke. This is the longest lasting controller I've ever owned. I can't express enough what a great controller this is. I only appreciate it more, after several years of use. I opened a new rev unlimited controller that I bought back in 2022 as back up because I expect my controllers to die every year. Never expected to use a controller for almost 4 years with thousands of hours of playtime logged in those years.

I wanted for CODMW to increase speed/agility
I like the Xbox feel and the customizable buttons and sensitivity works well with Modern Warfare. Cons include the joystick too well fall off if you grip your controller too hard like me, the cover on the handle slide off at times probably also due to my grip when squeezing too hard trying not to die in COD, and the software wasn’t dummy proof it took me a minute to figure out. This is probably because the company is french and the software does not come with the controller. If you want to use the extra buttons like me it will force your grip to be slightly longer than a normal xbox controller which was uncomfortable for the first few hours after that I had a harder time going back to a regular PS4 controller. Smaller handed people like me may have a difficult time using, mine are very small for a fully grown man so keep that in mind. The spacers that lengthen or shorten the joy sticks are cool and can help accuracy too. Last but not least the FSP shooter preset is more than adequate to give you the edge in COD. By changing the button assignments to enable an 8 finger grip so you don’t have to move fingers off any button in order to aim, run, throw, melee, slide etc. It will give you the form the pro gamers use with 400 dollar controllers. It’s a great beginner controller for competitive FSP gaming. The price is affordable, highly customizable both ergonomically and functionally, it is both wired and wireless for software and use, has 4 profile slots that so you can switch between settings you line for different games like shorter and driving. It gives a lot more control over your gaming and wireless battery life was never a problem for me with 3-4 hour sessions and then using again without charging. I think wired is faster but I’m superstitious that way. Has a cool carrying case you cam use for accessories or your toothbrush and razor which is the reason I don’t have a picture of it cause it’s lost. Happy gaming.

This Xbox style controller blows the DualShock 4 out of the water!
Not sure what genius at Sony designed the DualShock 4 thumb stick layout, but they need to get with the times. Where are the ergonomics in having the left stick in the same position as the old PS2 controller? Anyone else get cramps/sore thumb from the DS4 left stick? This NACON Revolution Unlimited Pro V3 solves that, with the added bonus of a much sleeker design and better functionality. Pros: - Xbox style thumb stick layout (my main reason for buying this) - adjustable weights, cool! Now this feels like my XB Elite - coating on the controller case is smoooooth - R2/L2 triggers are beefy, very comfortable - no lag with using the wifi adapter - customizable right stick ring light (wish there more vibrant colors available) - overall very comfortable for extended gameplay Cons: - biggest gripe is the position of the rear shortcut buttons under the handles, S1/S2/S3/S4. I find I accidentally hit one of these when playing GT Sport and my camera view changes, especially painful when in close quarters with other cars and a mistake is forced. I haven't setup a custom profile yet, but maybe those buttons can be disabled? - wish the wifi adapter was not required for wireless connection - thumb sticks sounds are a little too 'clicky' for my taste, but that is just me being nit-picky. Not a show stopper by any means If you are frustrated with the DS4 controller, this NACON Pro V3 is the solution! Best accessory purchase I have made for my PS4! Hey Sony - if you are listening, takes notes on this NACON controller. Perhaps a PS5 DualSense Elite in the future??

Friendly introduction to elite gaming controller
This review is a long one but very detailed, so please read. First off I would like to start with pros. The ergonomics and customization on this thing is great. Interchangeable weights, thumbsticks pads, dead zone thickness, led lights, hard travel case box that comes with it, bluetooth and wired options available. Remapping and sensitivity changes is very simple and straight forward. I would recommend YouTube for the first time you're remapping the buttons. The quality is top notch. The controller definitely takes some getting used to if you're coming from a traditional dualshock 4. Once you're adapt to it, you can use it for every genre of games, at least that was the case for me. I've really enjoyed using this controller. Great introduction to the world of elite gaming controllers if you can't decide between the top brand or just getting into it. I bought this controller back in Feb 2021 for about $137 USD and it's been a exactly a year since, when I write this review. This controller will always change in price on AMAZON whether it's more or less. Now the cons. Approximately about 3 months in when I first bought it, I started experiencing stick drift in the left analog stick which is very annoying. Dualshock 4 lasts much longer before stick drift starts showing. 5-6 months in after the stick drift started showing, the right bumper(R1) has gotten very sticky and sensitive. Works almost like normal, but it's as if the bumper is stuck inside the controller and a slight brush on it will trigger the input which is annoying, as a lot of games makes use of the R1 button. The surface of the controller collects fingerprints very easily if you have sweaty palms when gaming. Good thing the kit comes with a reuseable dry wipe. About a month or 2 after the right bumper got sticky, I've dropped the controller several times on accident and the left analog(L3) doesn't click anymore. I can only push down on it but it does nothing. This is very upsetting as a lot of games nowadays require L3 to sprint or do most of the important functions. The controller quite literally becomes useless if any of your analog stick breaks or doesn't function. Remapping doesn't work either because it requires the stick to function properly and to remap. I now sit here today with a Nacon revolution unlimited pro controller that can't play most games as my L3 does not work. Nacon support doesn't work as contacting them is literally impossible and their warranty according to some doesn't work. I've looked all over the internet for replacement services or parts but I've had no success. Nacon is a EU company, and I could probably request a repair, but that would take months as I reside in the US, and I will not wait months just to repair a analog stick for my controller. To sum it up, it's a friendlier introduction to the world of elite controllers. It's a good great product for shorter longevity, approximately 1 to 2 years of play time. It's definitely not a controller that will last you several years down the line. This was my first elite controller and I probably won't come back to it until they maybe release a newer and better controller. For now if you are debating between this and another controller that's $20-$40 more, check and watch reviews and spend the extra if you want. The Nacon revolution unlimited pro controller is good, just not great. The cons far outweigh the pros, especially in terms of longevity. I will be shopping and trying other rival brands until then.

The PS4 version of an Elite controller
this controller is absolutely fantastic. For the money, you get the build, quality, and premium feel one would expect at this price point. I was in search of the PS4 equivalent of the Xbox’s elite controller, and while this controller does miss the mark in a few places, it mostly lives up to that title. The extras included, the weights and swappable thumb sticks are amazing. Especially the three separate width trunks for the sticks — something I never knew I needed or wanted — is extremely nice to have depending on what type of gaming I’m looking to do. The controller is heavy and very well built feeling…it feels like you’re holding something premium and worth a pretty chunk of change. The cord is nice and long, and the case is excellent for keeping it nice. Now the downsides I have noticed: first, while the controller is comfortable, it does feel “chunky” to me, especially after falling in love with the ps4 dual shock controllers and never really quite warming up to the Xbox controllers entirely. It can at times feel a bit big in your palms. Secondly, the four extra programmable buttons are just not in a great place, and honestly it’s a bit hard to use them. If you are used to back paddles like on the Xbox elite controller, you will not be satisfied with these programmable buttons. It’s nice to have them, don’t get me wrong, but they really missed the mark with these buttons in terms of placement and usability. Some people complain that you can’t start your PlayStation with this controller because it isn’t a native controller, but honestly it’s not a big deal and I don’t mind at all. I start up with my dual shock, then switch to my Nacon, no biggie. A big huge PLUS to this controller is its compatibility with PC and/or possibly other systems. I have to say this is nice, as I can use my favorite controller to play on my Xbox as well! I know some people love the stick placement of this controller as it is more like every other non-PlayStation controller, but honestly I’d love it a lot more if both thumb sticks were in the same place as a dual shock controller, it’s part of the reason I love playing my ps4 over xbox to begin with! So in conclusion if you are searching for the closest thing you can find to an Elite controller on playstation, this is your answer and as close as you're gonna get! worth it!

lots of options, takes some getting used to.
Want the power to ruin a kids killstreak, or a grown mans marriage? Want to destroy things at the push of a button, a button that you create? Wanna destroy society by clicking a mute button, or adjust your sensitivity with a phone controlled app? This bad motherlover is for you! It has the ability to change buttons and weight/restrictions in between call of duty rounds WITHOUT being kickdd for inactovoty (now THATS FAST). All silly aside, this is a great controller with all the options I had been looking for. If you like light shows and what not, get the next level up. If you want a solid controller with options, grab this one. Yoh wont be disappojnted. **update** I left the product plugged in for a week in my console while out of town. The cable melted to the controller and console. Now-I did not update the stars as I cannot blame the seller for variables out of either of our control, the controller was a majestic unicorn of a beast. Downside is the extra one I bought is prob greasy now in the hands of some hillbilly. Be cautious and get a stand alone charger with protection of some sort. The seller refunded super fast and I spent the money immediately back with them.

No Customer Service... So buy at your own risk
Before I start, I want to say that performance wise, this is one of the better controllers that I've used. It feels great and it responds well. However, that great experience doesn't seem to last long for many owners of Nacon products, including myself. I bought this controller about 10months ago and maybe about 2 months ago was when the controller slowly started failing. It started when the L1 button stopped making the "Click" noise. Initially I didn't think much of it until I realized that whatever mechanism that causes the click, also stops the L1 button from being extremely fragile. So now touching the L1 will pretty much cause it to be pressed (Not a good thing for FPS's). Shortly after that, I discovered that my left stick would randomly drift up, causing things like random sweeps of a main menu (cursor moving through menus as if i'm holding "up" on the joystick) and characters that I control to randomly move up. Finally, the D-Pad is no longer working as intended. The "Right" direction on the D-Pad does not function properly, causing me to have to press extremely hard on that button in order for it to respond. None of this is ideal when gaming. After experiencing this, I attempted to reach out and use my 2 Year warranty that the product comes with. However, there's a catch. Their Customer Service is non-existent. There isn't a number to call and the support section of the website where you can email them is literally broken, so you actually cant email them. Per review, some have been able to get an email through but have not received responses. I have also read on a couple of occasions that some have reached out via twitter and gotten a response but no luck from me. So if you do buy this controller, know that it's probably going to break at some point and when that does happen, you wont be able to replace it.

Don't let the few bad reviews scare you!
First of all, like the headline says, I was iffy about purchasing this controller. But, I pushed the worries aside and just went for it, and I'm glad I did! I was worried at first, the box that the controller came in was not in English. As I unboxed the controller, I was blown away by the presentation. I comes in a very nice hard-shell carry case. Inside of the case is, the controller, warranty information, a very nice 10ft USB-C braided charging cable, various weights that can be inserted into the controller for people who like a heavier controller, and a micro-fiber cleaning cloth. The controller feels incredible to hold. It's so perfectly ergonomic and all of the buttons have a nice, clicky satisfying feel. It also has a very nice, grippy texture. The re-mappable buttons on the controller are very easy to set up, no additional software required. It has a switch on the back to swap between wireless and wired modes. Also a switch to swap between PC and PS4 modes. There is no input lag (in my experience). The battery life is noticeably better than the standard DS4 controller. The included dongle is easy to set up, it is plug and play 100%. It turns on like a normal DS controller, press the PS button in the middle. To power off the controller, press and hold the PS button for about 5 seconds, and it will shut off. The bad. You can not power on your console with the controller. The PS has to already be on for it to work, since the controller relies on the PS for power, either with the dongle or wired connection. The remappable buttons on the controller take some getting used to. Pressing them in game can be awkward, especially in situations where you have to act fast. I'm sure I will get used to it overtime. I hate the dongle. It forces you to use a USB slot on your console. You can purchase products that give you extra slots, but having to do that is an inconvenience. The biggest problem, is there are no additional instructions included. You need to go to their website for all of the instructions. Again, not a huge deal, but another inconvenience. There are no real deal breakers, just compromises that you'll have to make to use this controller. There is also a learning curve for me. I've always played PS, never have played much on XBox. So, I'm having to retrain myself to use the asymmetrical thumbsticks. LOL Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Anyone who is contemplating buying this, but are being swayed by the negative reviews, just do it. Buy it. You won't regret it.
