Works great - as advertised. I am using with 'Alexa'. Also using 'Smart Life' app (Tuya) on my android phone. Setup was fast & easy. Brightness and colors are excellent. I am using this "downlight" as an "uplight" atop my bookshelves, to illuminate ceiling & walls with reflective light [photo1]. The clean exterior case allows for aesthetically acceptable display of light fixture on bookshelf [photo2], rather than concealed in ceiling light can. I did modify the power connection by clipping the light socket adapter and splicing directly to an extension cord for plug in to wall outlet. No problem. Just what I wanted. Good alternative to Philips Hue Bloom.

UPDATE 11/2020: The green LEDs on second one of the original eight died. Replacement I've had to purchase appear to be new designs, hopefully improved over the very poor reliability of the 2019 vintage lights.Bought eight of these. Happy overall and being ESP8266-based, they accept reflashing of new firmware... in my case E1.31 compatible for use with a holiday light controller. After about three months, one of the eight has failed with the green LED driver apparently going bad. Would be much more annoying if I had mounted them somewhere hard to access. The plastic diffuser is also prone to falling out. These are mounted in a covered patio where winds can pop the thin plastic off. Ended up needing to glue them with a small bead of silicone. These lights are not stated as being for outdoor use and definitely should not be exposed to moisture.

Sweet light. Absurdly bright! Hooked it up to google home for voice commands. Set on a dusk to dawn schedule in the Smart Life app for ambient lighting in a hallway art niche.I used the Light-bulb adapter. Bought a light bulb socket plug ($8.00), and plugged it into an attic power outlet that was conveniently nearby my install location... so no hard wiring required!

I have color changing leds that work great the only problem is they are Bluetooth not Wi-Fi. The rest of the house I can control with Alexa because they are Wi-Fi bulbs. I want to control the whole house using Harry Potter spells. So I want to change My Bluetooth ones with Wi-Fi. It was easy to install and connect to my phone through the app. The bright colors are good but the problem is when you try and dim the light. If you dim the light starts to flicker. I like the white light, hospital room bright, but my sister like the normal warm yellowish light, like from a regular bulb. The light can’t achieve the the warm white. Since these lights didn’t fit my needs I had to return them.

These lights are pretty cool, and work well.Mounting them is a different story. They don’t really fit in a 4 inch high hat can. They are designed to clamp on to the bare Sheetrock in the ceiling. I had to grind off the tabs and basically glue them into thehigh hat fixture

Using with Google home. Work great and install was so simple. Pulled out the old trim pieces and popped these in place. May require a bit of adhesive at some point to help them stay in place (3 so far) but so far no need. Connection to the Home was quick and easy. Will order more.

These installed with no issues whatsoever and they are really bright! After playing around with the app, I got the warm tones we wanted. For the first few weeks, there were no issues with the Smart Life app... but once the app updated, there were features that weren't available to select and the modes were in Chinese. I'm hoping for another update from the manufacturer, as Smart Life tech support said the features are manufacturer controlled and not controlled by their app.

Got the 6" version of this light, the whites AND the colors are extremely bright. The housing is made quite well. The light is also very easy to modify the firmware if you're into that kind of thing.I'm currently using these lights on my porch as part of my christmas light show.

Purchased this Down Light arrived in time, however when it arrived there was no instruction manual for the fitting of the product. there are 2 wires I presume Live and Neutral however there is no indication as to what is Live and what is Neutral that is poor. I did not want to risk messing around with electrics as I'm comfortable doing so but not with this product

Works extremely well and setup was easy. Very responsive on my network with Alexa.

Super Produkt. Hab mir eine Hängelampe für den Tisch gebaut. Steuerung über Alexa als auch die App funktioniert hervorragend. Man bekommt mit der App des Herstellers auch ein schönes Warmweiss zusammengemischt. Das vorgegebene Warmweiss der AlexaApp ist mir immer noch zu kalt aber dafür kann die Lampe ja nichts. 100% ist wahnsinnig hell daher läuft sie bei mir auf maximal 10% dann ist es schön. Anschluss (kein Netzteil nötig, 230V direkt), Montage und Einrichtung hat bei mir super schnell geklappt. Lieferung hat sehr lange gedauert aber das warten hat sich gelohnt.

Réception en 10 jours avec un jour férié. .Le colis était bien emballé. L'installation du spot est très facile le plus compliqué c'est de faire le trou au plafond. La luminosité du spot est très satisfaisant pour mon usage dans le salon. L'appairage du spot avec l'application smartlife est des plus simple et la compatibilité avec nos assistant vocaux sont facile. Le spot mérite largement les 5 étoiles. Je recommande vivement cette marque. J'ai eu une très bonne relation avec ce fournisseur que je remercie grandement.

En travaux actuellement, nous cherchions des spots qui pourraient être gérés par Alexa.Ce Spot est large et très lumineux, et il a un large choix de couleurs (surtout avec Alexa qui nous permet de mettre un nom sur la couleur cramoisi 😂)Facile d installation et il se connecte rapidement à l'application .On peut le gérer directement de son téléphone avec l application constructeur ou l application Alexa et donc également à la voix avec Alexa.
