Unique costume and very well fit

Love this costume! Big hit with my son. I was impressed, especially because of the cost. My son is in an average size 9 year-old and the medium fits him perfectly. Costume came with the jacket with attached vest, cravat, sash, and spats.

The jacket is nice and the description only mentions a jacket. However, there is a picture of a full costume that includes a hat and pants which are not included. For the price, they should be included. Luckily, we had to buy a blue coat as well. The one we chose had all of the pictured items included. Make sure you read the description carefully before deciding which product you want to buy.

Excellent costume. I wish I could show you all how not happy this kid is in the costume for his school event, angry does not cover it. Costume is well made, perfect, and cute, my son is not impressed. It does not come with pants or a hat, get a pair of girls leggings, it will work perfectly, don't tell your boy he's in "girl" leggings. If I would have made it the pattern would cost $12, then there's the cost of buttons and material, so this is a steal.

This costume was the HUGEST hit with my 10yo son. He’s very interested in the Revolutionary War and loves to reenact battles he’s seen. He was absolutely beside himself when he got it. And TBH, I was surprised by the quality. Most cheap costumes cost twice as much but this one is actually great quality and it fits perfect. If you’re in the market for a redcoats costume, I would recommend this without hesitation. The 8-10 fit my average height 10yo perfectly. But he’s on the thinner side so if you child is heavier you might want to size up.

My son got this obviously for Halloween. I bought it thinking it would have the hat and sword which it does not. I scrounged up just enough to buy this and two other costumes for my girls only to find out it’s not a complete costume and I can’t afford to buy a hat and sword. He’s disappointed but trying to hide it for my sake. It would just be cool if they at least threw the hat in there too so people rushing for last minute costumes on a budget don’t get misled by the imagery.

California Costumes does a great job making these costumes. I also purchased their American Patriot costume. Both costumes are made with an impressive medium-thickness fabric. The colors are bright, and the fabric is well-stitched. The detailing is well done and makes these costumes almost look like the real thing. My sons really enjoy playing with these. You will need to purchase a hat and a wig. It also does not come with pants. Once all the parts are put in place, the look is fantastic. I would purchase again.

Ordered a size XL, thinking it might be a little big on my average-sized 10-year-old who wears size 12 jeans (regular, not husky) and size large t-shirts. However, the sleeves are a bit short on him, and overall the jacket is a little snug. Granted, he is a bit broad across the shoulders, but not extremely so. Also, the vest is snug across his stomach. The quality is quite good for a costume in this price range. Overall this looks like it will be a winner of a costume and I would recommend it; just keep in mind that, like most costumes, it runs small.

Materials isn't very good while my kid loves the looks. That's all matters

Well made, fit my 11 yr old quite nicely. Comes with coat, neckerchief, shoulder belt and shin coverings that hook your feet to make black shoes look like boots.
