My daughter wanted a bunk bed to accommodate her American Girl doll and her Our Generation doll. I wanted something cute, well made, and didn't want to spend a fortune. I spent quite some time reading reviews on all the beds out there, and settled on this one. I could not be happier. The bed was very easy for me to put together by myself, and very sturdy. It looks great in her room, and fits both dolls perfectly. It is easy for my daughter (who is 5) to put her dolls to bed all by herself, and cover them up. She thinks it is great, which is most important of all. For the quality of the piece, and the price, this bunk bed is a must have for your child.

As the children are snuggled in bed for the night (and a husband who works at 2am) I am taking a moment to review some of our Amazon items that Santa just happened to bring. I was unsure about purchasing this sight unseen as some doll furniture can be really junky, but the other reviews assured me this wasn't the case and once again the Amazon reviews did not let me down! My husband said it was a breeze to put together, it is sturdy, and holds her 18" dolls without them looking smashed in. The little bedding sets are so cute, my daughter (almost 8) loved those. The photo shows the ladder just leaning, but it does have a "hook" that goes over the top bunk to keep it on securely until you lift it off (like a real bunk bed ladder). We were very pleased, especially for the price, and our daughter was thrilled. I would highly recommend this bunk bed as an affordable option for AGs or other 18" dolls!

This bed is really cute! Well made. Easy to assemble.It definitely fits the American girl dolls/18 inch dolls very well. The only complaints I have with this purchase is that the bed, along with all of the contents in the box have a very strong "spray paint" like odor. Also, my bed did not come with the pillows that were to be included. Other than that, it is a great product.

This is super cute. It came with the pillows and blankets. It is also very easy to put together and super well made. It is fairly heavy.

This was a great bunk bed, made of wood, very easy to assemble, and it fit my daughters Anerican Girl Dolls perdectly! Better quality than I had expected for such a great price! The bedding wasn't great but we had other blankets and pillows that look adorable on the beds!

Kiddo asked santa an American girl bunkbed for Christmas. This was of course after we already bought a lpt of gifts. This fit the request and the budget and she didn't notice nor care it was the specific bunkbed. This fits her 18 in dolls great and it's really sturdy

This bed is absolutely adorable. The mattress is attached to the bed, the pillows can be moved, and the bedspread/sheet is large enough to cover a sleeping doll. The ladder can be placed anywhere on the bed, or removed completely. The bed is very sturdy and has survived a 1 year old using it to hold onto to try and stand up many times. I would definitely recommend this, and may have to get another one soon for my other daughter's room.

Das Bett ist wirklich wunderschön, alle Einzelteile sind in der Verpackung vorhanden,sogar Zusatzschraube und Zusatzdübel fehlt nicht. Aber dann der Zusammenbau, er erinnerte mich an frühere IKEA-Zeiten. Die Einzelteile sind so dimensioniert, dass nicht der Bruchteil eines Millimeters Platz für notwendiges "Spiel" ist. Und das merkt man spätestens bei dem vorgesehenen Einschub der Liegeböden in die Seitenteile, denn "dummerweise" ist auf den Liegeboden die Stoffunterlage fest aufgeklebt und so dicht bis zum Rand angeordnet, dass ein "leichtes Einschieben" über die gesamte Länge unmöglich ist. Die Nut hat nämlich präzise die Dimension des Bodens und wenn dann noch Stoff dazu kommt, das geht nur mit Kraft. Als ich die allerdings anwendete, platzten Teile der Seitenverkleidung ab, das Material Pressplatte hat das bei der Brettstärke nicht ausgehalten. Der Einsatz von Holzleim brachte Linderung, aber keine Heilung. Auch auf die Dübellöchertiefe sollte man nicht vertrauen, sie sind ungleich, einige der Dübel mussten gekürzt werden, um zu passen. Ähnliches gilt für die seltsamen Plastikdübel in den Seitenteilen, die die Schrauben von den Kopfteilen aus aufnehmen und halten sollen. Im Prinzip funktioniert das, aber wenn sie nicht richtig "vom Werk" eingesetzt sind, geht Schrauben nicht, diese Dübel werden dann nach außen gedrückt, erst dann erkennt man das Prinzip und versucht, sie neu einzusetzen, aber manchmal bleibt nur übrig, diese Dübel neu zu durchbohren, um überhaupt die Schraube zu befestigen. Insgesamt habe ich jetzt ein Bett mit sichtbaren Montageschäden, die aber - folgt man der Anweisung - aus meiner Sicht nicht vermeidbar waren. Auf eine entsprechende Reklamation beim Hersteller - wie von Amazon empfohlen - passierte nichts. Ich halte mich für einen durchaus erfahrenen Handwerker, wie gesagt "IKEA-gestählt", aber das übertraf meine Befürchtungen um Längen. Neue Rezension vom 13.12.201 Der Hersteller hat dann doch noch auf meine "Klagen" reagiert und mir angeboten, über Amazon ein neues Bett kostenlos im Austausch zu bestellen. Das habe ich gemacht, der Umtausch verlief reibungslos und dann kam die Montage. Zunächst habe ich überprüft, ob all das, was ich oben an Ungenauigkeiten beschrieben habe, weiterhin bestand, und siehe da, es geht auch anders. Alles passte präzise, der Zusammenbau war ein Kinderspiel, in kürzester Zeit hatte ich ein fertiges Puppenbett ohne den geringsten "unvermeidbaren Montageschaden", wie oben beschrieben. Ziehe ich wieder den Vergleich mit IKEA, diesmal hatte ich ein Bett erhalten, dass dem heutigen Qualitätsstandard des schwedischen Möbelhauses entspricht. Es geht also auch anders. Ich bedanke mich bei KidKraft für die Umtauschregelung und empfehle jedem zukünftigen Bastler, die oben beschriebenen Passungenauigkeiten vor der Montage zu prüfen, es scheint unterschiedliche Qualitätsstufen zu geben.

Absolutely love it, cute bunk beds. For my 8 year old girls birthday. Got it for her Designafriend Dolls who are going to fit perfectly. She hasn’t seen it yet but I assembled it before so she can play straight away. Easy to put together, took me 15 minutes.

Es preciosa la verdad le ha gustado mucho a mi hija de 3 año, aunque si es verdad que la escalera no sirve para nada pero bueno en relación calidad y precio yo diría que muy bien es verdad que es un poco cara por lo que es además de que tenía lugares en la litera donde faltaba pintura y donde también había unos golpes pero muy pequeño pero bueno se da un poco de pintura y listo la verdad a mi me ha gustado mucho y a mi hija también que es lo importante.
