Good tire, but dry rots too fast.
The Avon Roadriders handle great and they seem to grip well on wet pavement. They also wear evenly...no scalloping. I don't ride as much as I used to. I may only ride about 2,000 to 3,000 mile a year and that seems to be when I notice dry rot. In about 3 years the tire becomes dangerously dry rotted. Other tires I've owned don't dry rot as much as this one. If you ride 10,000 miles a year and replace your tires every 12 month, you prob'ly wouldn't worry about the dry rot. I buy the Avon Roadriders because the set fits the spoke wheels on BMW R1100R.
