Vigo The Carpathian Medieval Evil Art Ghost Movie Poster Movie Painting Cool Wall Decor Art Print Poster 24x36

First of all, this poster is fantastic. I was looking for a somewhat low-profile/inside-joke/tongue-in-cheek conversation piece for our playroom. What I really wanted was an actual painting (for true effect), but good luck having THAT much disposable income! So I channeled my inner-frugality and creativity and took to Google. I looked up how to turn a poster into a painting. I know they have services that will supplant an image onto a canvas for the painting feel, but not with a licensed image that they don't already have rights to. So instead, I read that you can buy this acrylic gel that you apply to the poster with a brush, as though you're painting it, yourself. The gel applies white, but once it dries, turns clear. Only the brush strokes remain. I've done it to a few posters now, and the results are freaking awesome! I've done it to my George Costanza poster where he's on a couch in his underwear, as well as the revolting, but can't look away Kramer "painting" from Seinfeld (true fans will remember these). A much more articulate description of the process is available online, if interested.As for the seller, I have no issues, only praise. It got to me quickly and was packaged for a war zone. Beautiful rendition and just what my playroom was missing.

I hung this is my living room the very day that it arrived. The packaging was undamaged and the poster came out in pristine condition. As the weeks drew on, I began to suffer from slight bouts of demonic possession. At first I thought it was a result of my rampant drinking but when I started waking up in the middle of a hastily sketched pentagram on my living room floor with no recollection of how I got there, I began to grow suspicious. Turns out Lord Vigo had been possessing me and terrorizing the neighborhood. Now my neighbors have begun leaving hate-mail on my doorstep. Things like "stop crapping in my yard", "Shave my cat again and im calling the cops", and "If I catch you rearranging my garden gnomes into gay sexual positions again ill kill you."All in all, I love the poster as it fits wonderfully with my décor, but im just not sure it's worth the damnation of my soul.

Nothing says "I love you, daddy, Merry Christmas" like a framed print of a baby snatcher. I purchased this for my toddler to "give" to my husband for Christmas in a large bronze matted frame. We added skulls to the frame because it's what Vigo would have wanted. It was probably the coolest thing anyone has ever given another for Christmas. At least my husband was delighted. I received the poster pretty quickly after the order, but it showed up damaged. After getting a hold of the seller, they promptly sent me a new one in time for Christmas. They were on top of it. Very nice quality print, love it!

The resolution of the poster is perfect, but the overall brightness of it is considerably darker that what appears on the image on the listing. You really can't see anything below the knees, especially the skulls that he is standing on, which is part of what makes Vigo so cool. I asked the seller (and a few other sellers for that matter) if they could get me a brighter one that matches what the image on the listing looks like and they said "no". This was disappointing for me because it is an otherwise very good print. See attached picture: My camera somehow makes the image look brighter than it actually is, seriously, with the naked eye you cannot make out anything below his knees. Imagine this picture but a little darker.

Item was not shipped in a tube like you should ship a poster, it appears to have been folded and put into a triangle box. As a result, there are creases running down the entire length of the poster. The outside of the box did not appear to be damaged. The poster itself is what i was hoping for, would have been satisfied if there was no damage.*UPDATE*They shipped me another poster, packaged correctly this time.

Bought this as present for my BIL and SIL. He loves Ghostbusters and since they're having their first baby..... what better portrait to hang in the nursery? The bottom appears a little dark, but you can still sort of make out skulls. Well received, but mom has final say sooooo.... it'll probably go in another room.

It's a good size but the colors are not as vibrant as I would like

After purchasing this, we re-watched Ghostbusters 2 and I discovered an appreciation of Janosz that eluded me in 89. I got this poster for my wife who loves "gothic" or "creepy" things. It now hangs on the wall behind her desk, staring forever disapprovingly at her back. I'd recommend splurging on an ornate frame. A thin, cheap, black, plastic poster frame fails to capture the grandiose feel of the "painting".

Really nice poster, like some others said it is slightly grainy, but I'm assuming it's a copy of the original and since Vigo the Carpathian was born in the 16th century, HD technology would not have been available at the time ;)

I thought the poster was cleaner then that. I mean it's a bit blurry. But it's good enough.Delivery quality was perfect.

I was so glad I could buy this. Bought as gift and was well received.

It was absolutely terrifying when I unrolled the scroll. I went out bought a 100 dollar frame and framed that sucker over my bed. Now I hope Lord Vigo of carpathia, the sorrow of maldathia notices me.

poster sometimes sounds like its breathing, and i can swear its following me around the room.
