Free cable with limited channels
I live in suburbs near Chicago about 20 miles away from downtown, telling you this so you know i don't live in no man land and coverage is pretty good here. I am getting about 20 channels. Easy to install, plug and play and you can also switch back to your main cable or other streaming services. Couple of channels drop in between, signal not strong for those but overall happy with purchase and free channels.

Cutting the cord and the bill with a TV antenna
Every year I fight with the cable company over the increases in my service. I've pared it down with lower quality, lower speed but it just keeps going up. Two months ago it went up $40. There is nothing left to cut down on so I am cutting off the TV and only keeping the internet. I thought using a streaming stick and paid content would take it's place but the local channels and major networks aren't on the streaming. I live in an area with frequent tornados and storm watches and it is a necessity to see locally what is going on, maybe even life saving. So I got this antenna. I have several options for each of the networks but I stick with the local ones and I get a more distant PBS which still comes in clear. I find the quality and sound equal to that of cable and only now and then is the picture scrambled. I actually hooked it up during a bad thunder storm. It is doing the job well and I am now going to order a second one for another TV. I also influenced a cousin to order one too. I like the white color since it's less noticeable. For me it isn't about how many channels I get. It's about getting the local ones with certainty. If the cable ever does go out as long as there is power I can see what's going on.

Decent product
I just plugged it in and it pick up a signal right away considering the dead area I live in. I wish that the cord was longer. But so far I like it better than the one it just replaced.
