This is a very easy read. I do like a lot of the points the author put out. Especially towards the end. I agree with the author on many points about the apathetic ness of Christians today and that we need passionate leaders for God. I think Sunday School should have more priority in the church. Is the Sunday School the answer to all of the Luke warm Christians? The author seems to think so. I agree it’s a great place to start.

The author does a good job of identifying some of the challenges facing those trying to grow Sunday School. However the author does not stop there, he also offers suggestions for meeting those challenges. This book offers opportunity for defining other tools for growing Sunday School in a challenging era.

My friend was happy to receive this as he sought to revitalize Sunday School in his church. I've heard Allan Taylor before and he is a dynamic speaker with insightful and practical ideas and suggestions. Actually, he is passionate about Christian Education and has a proven method that should be successful in churches seeking better results in a traditional Sunday School format. Leadership within the church Sunday School staff (pastoral and lay) is a key part of his approach to breathing life into Sunday School. The book arrived in perfect shape and was well made/printed.

Great book on what’s necessary to a growing and thriving Sunday School ministry in your local church, and those needed to make it work.

Just average in my opinion. Too much repetition and heavy on selling Sunday school but weak on actual methods of being successful. I found Howard Hendricks far more helpful

Allan knows Sunday School. This is no research paper. He has been there and done it successfully. Every pastor and Sunday School leader needs to read this book. It is practical and insightful. If you want to reach and teach people the Bible practice these truths and you will be successful.

This book has opened my eyes as a pastor, leader, teacher, and administrator to lead with clarity and take charge with purpose in the whole realm of church ministry, not just Sunday School.

Terrific Read for anyone interested in Christian Education! Great follow-up to his, Six Core Values of the Sunday School. Allan has a style that makes you want to read more from his years of experience.
