good and easy to carry book
This is a good book if you are in Bangkok for a few days. It has good pictures and good current information. The pictures and the infor in the newer DK books are not as good as the older books so this one is not as good as the older ones in that regard but the info is current.

Simple recommendations on what to see
I’ve always liked these top 10 books, and this is no exception. It clearly recommends what the authors think are the best sights, and we hen pick what appeals to us from that list, with potentially other places of interest from the further lists.

Superb
Great, if a little thin book on visiting Bangkk, whether briefly or more leisurely. The only drawback for me is that the text is a little too small for my eyes to read eadiky.

Small Size,Big Information.
This is a great little guide book with the usual quality and level of information that you'd expect from Dorling Kindersley . Whether you want to take in local culture or visit the bars and clubs all you need to know about the fascinating city of Bangkok is in this guide. The guide is truly pocket sized and will fit in the cargo pocket of your shorts.....and I wouldn't advise anything else in Bangkok. The guide is split into sections describing different sections of the city with a small map of that area. Also provided is a separate map with those areas shown in larger scale. Also shown is a map of Bangkok's Mass Transit System and as anyone who has used something similar in any large Asian city will tell you these are the best way to get around quickly and cheaply. You'll also go home wondering why Britain has never got the affordable public transport thing figured out. This guide is all you'll need to find your way around Bangkok,as well as describing the sights and events there's a useful section at the back with embassy addresses, advice on visas, currency, using elctrical devices and much more.

DK Eyewitness Top 10 Bangkok (Pocket Travel Guide)
I was asked if I’d like to review the DK Eyewitness Top 10 Bangkok (Pocket Travel Guide). When I’m thinking of going somewhere for a holiday as always do a lot of research first. This paperback book has 128 pages. You’ll find the book covers:- Top 10 Bangkok Highlights, The Top 10 of Everything, Bangkok Area by Area and Streetsmart. There’s expert advice and tips, (which covers what to do before you go, getting around and staying safe). You’ll find a number of detailed colour maps, (to help you whilst in the country).Authentic places to stay, eat, drink and shop. There are easy itineraries for you to follow. What I found extremely helpful was that it goes into detail for places you want to visit it gives you the opening and closing times, phone numbers and websites, which for me is great.I’ve found this book really helpful and can recommend it.
