This product did not work. Do not buy. The audio from my iPhone did come through to the car; however, this cable also caused a static and scratchy popping noise to come into the stereo system as well, rendering it unusable. Cannot listen to music if there is a ton of static noise! It is cheap garbage and is being returned. You will be better off using a standard AUX audio cable in combination with a separate 6V charging cable.
