Been around the block, so this I know...
I have a Canon EOS 5D Mk III, and it is one heavy DSLR.The strap that came with it had the brand name and model embroidered in white on black in huge letters saying "Steal me." Since it was a huge investment and I plan to use it in the field I purchased every possible strap, sling, grip, and wrist strap. After spending many hours messing about attaching these various products and going outside and trying them out I became a bit discouraged. There was nothing out there that gave me comfortable control and grip on the camera. An all rubber camera covering kept slipping out of my hands because it lacked tackiness. An expensive strap system was OK but couldn't keep the camera from slapping me in the chest as I walked, and a wrist strap resembled a hangman's noose and proved just as uncomfortable. I saw the ad for this grip system and thought, why not. It seemed a bit pricey but cost 1/3 less than the elaborate strap system I owned. It was all worth it. I had to pay attention to the directions and did a few adjustments to have it fit my hand but it was worth it. I can move around with this heavy camera secured to my hand and available in a moment's notice. It being leather was a nice touch. If you want to have a secure hold on your camera and have it handy, this in my opinion, is the way to go.

Well made, yet 6D owners beware.
It's a nice well-made piece of equipment, but it makes it extremely difficult to reach the focus point selector on my Canon 6D. For this reason I can't use it. For a camera with a differently-located focus point selector, or if you don't change your focus points often on your 6D, it would be an excellent choice. Will probably just put it on my Rebel and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

Good a bit too rough
A bit hard and not so easy to loosen/tighten. The metal buckle piece scratched my camera's litle LCD indicator.

Instructions were non-existent. Images that accompanied the product were small and not detailed enough to be useful. To this day I am not sure I have the strap configured correctly. It looks like it could be a very good bargain, but before I entrust my Mark IV to it, I'll play around with lesser cameras for a while. In order for me to get a snug fit, I have to severely restrict my hand movements to only a few buttons. Once I loosen the adjustment straps for better range of button access, I lose the feeling of a secure fit.

Protector does not work for Canon 70D
I bought this protector from Amazon in order to give the extra protection to my new Canon 70D and my order states so.so. Nonetheless, I received one that is for a 7D. I put it on mine but the touchscreen is cancelled which becomes a useless thing for me. I could exchange it for the correct one but being that I am in Mexico it is not worth it to spend $50.00USD to send it back when I invested $41.00USD on it, what a waste of time and money for the error of somebody else.Be careful when you order things like this, you may receive the wrong Γtem.David MendezMexico City

Good item. Fairly priced.
Item was just as described. Decently priced for what it is. It does provide some comfort for when youreading shooting for some time. I use my t3i for mainly video so it's useful. But I tend not to use it at times as it limits my hand movement depending on my situation. A strap on it makes for an easy release from your hand which I loke.

Fits like a glove
I was giving this a second thought before buying it because it's a little more expensive than other wrist straps. I'm glad I did, I love it, exactly what I was looking for. You really get what you pay for here. Sturdy and well built. It's perfectly adjustable for big or small hands. It gives me a nice secure grip while shooting street photography, not too conspicuous either.

Does not fit Canon 5D Mark III
The item sold by Foto&Tech is for a Nikon camera. The instructions indicate it's for a Nikon and the photo on Amazon is a Nikon. I contacted the seller and they initially stated it should fit my Canon but then issued a refund. Unless I trim the strap, I'm not sure how it would fit into the camera's strap holder. As others have stated the instructions that accompany the strap are not user-friendly. Save your money unless you have a Nikon.
