Quality- Average Smoothness- Smooth writin some time leaves skips, Nib- In description it was written fine but received medium nib. But looking very thick writing Flow- Ok Value is not worth. May 800-1000bucks ok for this.

Superb, smooth, nice look, every one will look and think what a pen। But only a few will ask about । Looks rich pen। Smoothness of nib is praised। It's nice experience।

I have just opened my Parker aster and it writes very smooth. Much better than scratchy Parker vector fountain pens. When inked for the first time, it started with great difficulty. I had to jerk it several times and touch the nib and jib several times to see of if ink is flowing properly. But once it started it started writing well from the very first sentence onwards. This is unlike Parker vector fountain pen which takes many days to reduce its scratchiness. Moreover I am liking its medium nib very much. Parker vectors come only in fine nib. But I think medium nibs are better. This pen writes great, very smooth. Mine is a medium nib. - after 1 month use It is a steel nib. Flow improved with each filling. But steel nibs be it Parker or any other are less flexible. Otherwise it is very smooth. One more thing - fill with Parker ink. Much cheaper than other inks and also much smoother.

This is a great pen to get you introduced to the world of fountain pens. Barring few initial days of usage it writes butter smooth. It just glides over the paper. No strain is felt over the finger tips or the wrist. There are few cons like the nib is slightly thick and the Reservoir is tad small, so if you are heavy user you need to refill daily.
