Adventure According to Humphrey

I read Humphrey to my son (age 8 & 1/2) every night I have him. Out loud, each chapter is about 20 minutes. The stories are fun/engaging and have great messages.My only complaint is that the author doesn’t use the Oxford comma. :-)I’m looking forward to the next story.I would love to see Humphrey in a movie or TV show. The books are that good.

Your correct about "two wrongs don't make a right" and another saying I know is "teamwork makes the dream work". Humphrey experienced hard things and pushed through. I love the Humphrey series a lot. Good job!

My granddaughters love this series

My son loved it, he is 9 and this is the 3rd book in the series he has read.

My son (third grade) absolutely loves this series of books. I guess he can relate to it because it all takes place in a public school classroom, and covers many problems that children his age deal with. For example, there is one child who is a foster child of a single parent, another child who is painfully shy, a third who has problems paying attention, etc. The main character is a classroom pet hamster named Humphrey. He knows how to slip out of his cage at night and sometimes help solve problems for the students by doing sneaky things. This particular book also has a nautical/pirate component that some boys might especially like, as the classroom is preparing for a toy boat race at the lake.

This book is a wonderful book. I suggest you read this book because if you read this book and comprehend it, you would love it. It's a funny book. If you have a little kid that loves animals or likes boats, I think he/she will like it. I'm going to tell you that Humphrey (the hamster) says words three times for example Boats-Boats-Boats. A good book but could have been better

Unsere Kinder, 4. und 5. Klasse wachsen zweisprachig auf. Beiden gefallen die Humpfrey Bücher gut. Geeignet für Kinder, die Tiere und lustige Geschichten mit Happy End mögen. Nachvollziehbare Kinder-Charaktäre und Schulsituationen.
