This holder is much larger than I expected and more difficult to sink, but will hold a lot of hose. Depends on your needs how much you'll like it. I was looking for a simple holder to keep a relatively small amount of hose off the ground and be barely visible amid the shrubbery. For me this holder is complete overkill. It's enough taller than my greenery that it's anything but subtle. The solid tubing is substantial and shiny black. I had trouble sinking it in my very hard packed earth. Fortunately the foot piece is well attached and held on firmly as I hit it with a sledgehammer to sink it. Once in it seems very sturdy.I don't know how much heavy hose it would hold, but easily 50' and more of lighter weight hose. The U holder is generous and because the holder is tall it allows for large loops of hose. Not sure if I'll continue to use it in the current location since it's so noticeable. It does the job, but since it's more than I needed, I may look for a smaller version and put this elsewhere.For those with looking for a tall, substantial holder of good quality, I'd recommend this one.

Got a hose that you need to hang somewhere? I do and this works for me. it's sturdy and will last a long time. The price was good in comparison to others too.

Tended to bend when hose fully on it.Stake could have gone further into ground and could have used another stake for sturdiness.

I bought this off of reading positive reviews. I was looking for a hose storage solution with a small footprint yet not attached to the house. This is probably 3/8 inch thick steel bar bent into a sheppard's hook, the bottom is a fork for stability when pushed into the ground. I have 100' and 75' of hose on mine and they stand up nice and straight. The finish is gloss black. They are exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the fact that they weren't available for prime, I would have paid more for two day shipping. I think prime might spoil me too much! Excellent, strong product made right here in the good ol' US of A!

I switched to this from a hose reel that was broken. This pushes into the ground easy but only as far as the "leg". I was hoping to push it deeper for a stronger hold but it was a no go. But, it still stands up decently though it does lean forward a little. No big deal in my opinion. Seems sturdy, the finish is nice. It does kink your hose a little and that is the reason I took one star off. Still satisfied though.

I just wanted to take the time to review this holder. I needed something for a 25' hose that we keep by the barn to water the cows. It is an awkward little corner and this works just wonderfully! I didn't want anything fussy looking, just basic, and this is super sturdy in the ground. Happy with my purchase!!
