Great plate for the camera! Solid
I’ve had the plate for a while now, and I leave it on my camera all the time. It could be more ergonomic, but it’s not horrible. It’s well made and adds some extra length to the grip for my large hand. Tip: when mounting the bracket on to your camera, halfway insert the battery and use its fit to help you find to proper alignment. As you tighten the hex screw, insert and eject the battery and make sure it’s ejecting properly. The tolerance is tight, so you will know if it’s off. The battery will slide right out when the plate is fitted properly.

Cannot replace battery without removing Quick release
I love the material used in this release plate but I'm frustrated that in order to replace the battery you must remove the release plate

Battery compartment is blocked
Well built, however did not fit my Sony A7 RIII! I could not open the battery compartment and I tried numerous times and shifted the quick release plate. I don’t know how much other people use tripods but I had to take this out each time to fit the camera for my tripod. If there was a way to keep the cover on while on a tripod, this review would be a 5 star.
