Very good cushiony support against the hard ground
I have both of Wellax's products (the regular sleeping pad and the self-inflating pad) and both are excellent products! The self-inflating pad is comfortable and provides a lot of cushion to the ground underneath. The regular sleeping pad isn't as cushiony, but folds up a lot easier and more compact than the self-inflating pad. Depending on your situation, I would take the self-inflating pad for short camping trips and take the regular pad for longer camping trips where lightweight and compact gear matter most.

Bulkier but probably better
This is the second Wellax pad I bought, but of a different style from the first. You can read about the first one I bought here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3RX2K5X4QJT3C?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp. Most of the time, if I'm sleeping outside, it's because I packed all my stuff and walked a few miles to get there. If that's like you, I would recommend the other pad over this one. It's smaller, lighter, and packs easier. This one however, seems to be a little more durable. The pad has something inside it that probably improves the temperature rating or thickness or something. I didn't pay enough attention and haven't slept on them side by side to compare, but it seems like it will probably hold up a little better in the long run. I like that it came with a patch kit and will probably keep that with whatever pad I take with me. The only reason I took a star away was because it's not the easiest to repack. Sure it's still not as bad as trying to repack the sleeping bag I had as a kid, but it will take a couple minutes to pack it right and it is closer to the size of a bowling ball once it's all wrapped up. It's better than the old foam pad I used to use and would be great for car camping, but it's still not my choice for a backpacking trip.

WellaX sleeping pad....AWESOME
I love camping and being out in the woods. I haven't been able to do so as much since having a bad back and bum leg, and sleeping on the ground just isn't for me anymore. I've tried military mats, air mattresses and cots and would wake up not rested and discomfort. I tried the WellaX Ultralight Sleeping Pad and from the first night, I slept all night long. It kept my back in alignment and was padded just enough to make it a comfortable sleep. I can't wait for spring/summer to enjoy camping again. I will spend as much time as possible camping in the woods next summer.I can't say enough about WellaX...a great product that I highly recommend.

Smooth sleeping surface with good support
This is now my third wellex sleeping pad. I continue to be impressed by the quality of the product. The sleeping pad is self-inflating. What this really means is that it mostly inflates by itself. If you want a little more pressure or a little more sturdiness you can also augment their inflation using your own lungs. And this just takes a second. The design is very nice because you do not have the typical accordion bumps that are featured in almost all outdoor sleeping pads. This is a smooth surface. It is also very very packable. Highly recommended.

New Self Inflating Sleeping Pad is much improved!
I previously had the WellaX inflatable sleeping pad without the foam core that did not self-inflate. This new version is much thicker and more comfortable-- it keeps pressure points from touching the ground and is also much warmer for camping in cold weather. The previous pad I bought had a problem with a small air leak, so I thoroughly tested this one before taking it outside. I properly inflated it and then left it fully weighted for a week straight without noticing any air loss. This pad also comes with a small patch kit, so if you do get a puncture while camping, it should be easy to patch up. This pad is bulkier and heavier than the version without the foam core, so it's less suitable for use in a hammock or for ultralight backpackers, but it is very comfortable and insulating.

A little skinny
It is a lot more narrow than I thought it would be. It’s baerly wide enough for an adult to lay flat on but I think it would work well in a sleeping bag. Very portable and easy to set up. So much more convenient than an air mattress.

Durable and Comfortable!
Took this sleeping pad out on my annual camping trip this year, and boy did it make a difference! I usually sleep on a cot and this added a much-needed level of comfort. Easy to blow up and quick to deflate as well. Highly recommend!

It fits me
I have a Big Agnes Slavonia Petite Sleeping Bag. The pad requirements are 20x66. This one fits in the sleeve just fine. It is a little tight on the length, but it works. I'm 5'1" and the pad is a little on the narrow side, laying on my back my elbows have tendency to slip off the pad. Inside my sleeping bag it won't make any difference, the bag is well insulated and soft.I followed the suggestions to unroll and inflate the pad before first use. 10 breaths and it is full. Over night it lost one breath worth. I refilled it and it has not lost any air since. I'm not using the pad during the break in period. It includes a patch kit and an extra valve cap. Great value.I spent extra money on the sleeping bag, and got away with saving on this self inflating pad that is just as good as the more expensive.
