Just a proof that there is always a silver lining! Abby and Matteo's story is one of beauty in it's simplicity. Nothing over the top, just simply a story of two kindred souls finding love even though neither was looking. Even their sex scenes were classy and not overdone. Oftentimes I have found HP romances are so big on the sex scenes that it oftentimes comes out as trashy and all sex but Abby and Matteo made love to each other so sincerely.Sometimes I tell myself to stop buying HP romances because it is very rare for me nowadays to find a good romance, romance is not about how good the sex is, it is about how better the sex is if the romance is done right! This is what keeps me buying HP's, finding the gems once in awhile. Hats off to the author.

This started out as a favor for his grandfather. Recover one of the Di Sione mistresses. This one happens to be a very valuable necklace. But to get it meant that he has to get her to her father's gala. Along the way he discovers that she has been used and abused by men in her life. Now it seems that he will be added to the list. Can she forgive him?

Loved this book. Would love to see this author put out a full length book and not be constricted by Harlequin's 200 page limit. I was impressed with the witty dialog, depth of the characters, a plot with substance, and the author's ability to make the reader emotionally connected to the story. I also have to say that this was one of the most erotic Harlequin's I have read to date. Looking forward to more from Carol Marinelli.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and the story line was good. I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it.

This is the first book of a series. It read as a standalone. It ended with no cliffhangers. I hate books that leave you hanging. I'm glad this book was not like that.Matteo's was raised by his grandfather after his parents died. His grandfather is not doing well, and has one request. He wants Matteo to find a necklace that he once owned, and to get it back from him. Matteo has found the necklace. It belongs to Abby. She is part of a race team. The team itself is doing great, but needs more funds to continue to race. Matteo becomes the team sponsor. The two started falling for one another. This was a really sweet book. Some very sensitive topics was talked about throughout the book. This is one of those books that pulls at your heart strings at times, and other times makes you so mad, you want to hurt the person that once hurt Abby. Excellent book. I really liked both the hero, and heroine.

Di Sione's innocent Conquest is a story of patience and respect with humor and intense attractions that is unique. Great read!

Mateo and Abby's story was sweet. I very much enjoyed it. I love Mateo. Can't wait for the next one.

A really great book.

This book has everything. The Characters are wonderful and the storyline extremely enjoyable. I'm hoping to find out more about Grandfather's Missing Mistresses in the following books in this Series. Highly recommended.

Book was very good mills and boon never let you down

Very enjoyable read especially for those of us with a romantic heart and love a female character that is not following a traditional career path.
