King Kooker#18WK Steel Wok, 17-Inch, Multicolor

I received the wok in great condition. It is large and made of steel that will last for some time after repetitive use. I am thoroughly satisfied with this wok and look forward to many years of use.

Purchased this large Wok for cooking but also to use to cover my grill. I have a fire pit. Bought right size grill grate, then the Wok. I had to get a base to use rounded bottom of Wok on grate. If I want to cover food on grate. I just flipped the WOK over and cover the grate. The Wok becomes a lid. I did this to get rid of both a firepit and having a grill in my RV.

The picture looks like quality spun steel without a rolled edge. The one that I received looks like stamped steel with a rolled edge made out of very thin steel, like thin cookie sheet material. If the edge was not rolled it would deform for sure. Don't dare drop it as it will dent although it is very light so it might also bounce. Maybe more suitable as a lid for a bigger woke if you could take the handles off. This one is 17.5 inches in diameter, not including the handles. Sending back immediately.

Would have kept it if it were just a bit smaller.

I left it on the porch and had a lot of rust the next day. Returned

I really like this wok. It is a great size, heats quickly, and has strong solid-riveted handles. The only thing that kept it from receiving the perfect score was the material thickness. At this size it flexes just a bit too much.As others have noted, this comes with a pretty thick layer of rust-preventive oil. It is more like shellac. A couple wipes with mineral spirits and you have a nice looking unseasoned wok. The instructions for seasoning are clear and easy.

This is a nice, well made Wok. It seasoned up well and performed well on an outside propane cooker. Be aware that it comes coated in cosmoline.The instructions said to use dish soap but I needed to use mineral spirits to get the protective shipping coating off before we could oil it up for seasoning. Once it was clean, we followed the instructions for seasoning and it turned out great.

I got this for my husband for his birthday. We used it on a campout with some cub scouts....we were responsible for cooking for the den...about 10-12 people. This thing worked to perfection. Very capable of cooking for large amounts of people.

before original use， need pork skin wipe the heated pan.

I used this wok 1x I seasoned it after uses and when I went to get it the entire wok was rusted. Awful!
