Sunset Trading Oak Selections Dining Chair, 38", Light Finish

Arrived well packaged. Well made sturdy chairs at a decent price. We were trying to match chairs from 30 years ago, we needed to add 2 more chairs. This is closest in color and size, as well as being solid. No creaking, no wiggle. Hopefully these will last 30 years as well.

The product came assembled BUTit was done very badly—- nails were protruding and the back rails were not even in their respective holes. Not consistent with AMAZON Quality!

The chairs are a bit better than I expected. They match the product picture (important because I wanted them to match my table), come preassembled, were packed with padding so they don't scuff each other, and are otherwise standard windsor chairs. My wife's reaction to them was, "Huh, they are ok; just shy of good." The only potential issue we have with them is the joining work underneath the seat is about the quality that the untrained maintenance lady who works at our apartment complex manages on a regular basis. The screws appear hastily and somewhat sloppily put in at less-than-straight angles. There are also two bits of somewhat jagged wood sticking out of the bottom of the seat that are about the right height for a baby (such as ours) to hit his/her head on and get a nasty scrape. We will be gluing nerf pads over each. My wife and I are both teachers, so the price was within our range (about $80 each). I also am 6'1" and weigh around 240 lbs. and I stood upon both of them on unpacking and would trust them to support me while changing a lightbulb. Overall, completely average chairs that do what they say.

Was bought for my daughters apartment, was a great match to her table, she had only one chair for it. Very sturdy. May get an oke set for myself if I can’t get them tightened.

We were replacing our kitchen chairs, which were getting a bit wobbly. These are sturdy, good looking and comfortable. They even have predrilled holes, so it was easy to attach sliders.

I paid $86 for expert assembly. A service man arrived at my house, opened the box, and the chairs arrive fully assembled. The chairs themselves are nice. I just think this is false advertising on the sellers part. I wasted $86. The one star rating is because of the false advertising. Otherwise would be a 4 or 5.

Came all in one piece. No assembly required. Love them. Seem to be nice solid wood. I did purchase cushions for them but not necessary
