Great Choice, Perfect Size!
Installed on our Garage Door. Cut my Template using Cardboard placing exterior frame on it and traced. Then traced onto the Foam interior side first. Cut the exterior from the inside. Used “Lattice” strip wood to reinforce the Insulated Foam interior of Door, as the Frame needs something to secure to. Fit the Vertical Strips in to the Frame of the Door. Used Gorilla Glue for the horizontal strips. Used the Long Screws on this side. Short Screws on Outside of Door. Instructions don’t mention the size of Drill bit to use but I used a 3/8” Bit at the corners. The “Collar” of the Pet Door met perfectly with no Garage door material exposed. After a couple trial runs, our 11 month old Kitty started using Regularly. Chose this Pet Door because of the Collar. Others do not have this to Seal “the Gap”. Reasonably priced, Durable and Stable Door, reduces any Noise from outside. Perfect Fit for our Need!

Great product
I put this cat door in my cat house outside. It was exposed to the weather and still lasted five years. The only thing that wore out was the flap. I just ordered the exact same door again because I’m impressed really held up well and pop that one out and put this one in took five minutes in fact, I had my grandson do it. They’re very easy to install very forgiving wonderful project for You to do with a child because they learn skills and it’s very forgiving. Great price. The last one lasted over five years.

A decent cat door with a few modifications.
This was the only cat flap-door that was close to the size hole already cut in my cats' feeding-house so decided to take a chance because the vinyl freezer-strip I had ordered and put in during a warm spell between freezing weather had not preformed as advertised by seller. Thankfully they came during a nice Spring-like time and got them installed. I had to enlarge both openings slightly but not unexpected. the front sections were fairly easy to install, but I did have to remove half of the weather-brush strip on each door so they would swing a bit easier and not be too difficult for the cats to figure out how to use them Because the inside of the converted Rubber Maid storage container is not smooth I did not try to use the inner frame portion due to it being bigger opening diameter (designed to fit over the outer doors opening "lip". By the end of the day all of the cats had used the new doors although with a little trial-n-error. We are now getting a snow storm with drifting snow so I checked the doors after shoveling the deep snow away although neither door was covered by the drift. One cat; the most timid one, did not get through the door but rather waited for me to give her food, but so far the other cats have had no trouble using the doors. After installing the doors I removed the clear cling covering from the flap and tossed it away with the other refuse only to re-read the accompanying included and reading their cautions!! ATTENTION: please do not throw that clear cling covering away because they say to put it back on if the temperatures get below freezing to prevent the clear plastic door flap from breaking!! Guess I'll find out if that plastic flap will hold up :-( without the cling cover. The back cover section has two lines marking the depths one can cut down so it fits thinner doors but because the plastic is hard you would need to use either a skill saw or hacksaw but not sure how you would hold onto the frame piece while cutting because I think it's too brittle to use a vice to clamp it. Having another person hold it would be a big help. The bottom of the door flap has a weight in it to keep it hanging straight down as well as closed when a cat is not using it so a regular wind will not blow it open - make sure when you install the front door frame that you keep it LEVEL or the flap will not work!!!!

Kitty door
Absolutely love the kitty door. Very easy to install it took me less than 20 minutes with the cutting and everything. And my cat is absolutely through that he can go in and out on his own. The best thing I bought for my cat ever.

Our cat uses it!
The cat door was easy to install. You will need a jigsaw and screwdriver for installation. Our cat learned to use it within a day.

Draw around the inner door!!!
I’m giving the product three stars because this should be considered a small cat door. I ordered the medium. It’s smaller than the other cat door I have which was also a medium, from a different company. The other problem I had was the 4 easy steps. It should state to draw around the “inner door” . It doesn’t state that until you read the whole pamphlet. And the it’s a oh yeah make sure you draw around the inner door not outer door.

Easy to install; great features
This was one of the easier cat doors I have installed. The magnet in the frame keeps the door from needlessly flapping when the cat enters and exits. Because of the magnet, the cat does need to apply a little more force to go through, but if this becomes a problem, there are ways to remove the magnet. The selection knob is much better than the other cat doors we have in the home the use a sliding mechanism.
