It does Iluminate
Powerful enough to see the road ahead clearly enough when hurtling down narrow sunken lanes at great speed. Simple to mount, stays there without getting shifted by vibration much.

Only lasted 6 weeks...
Too good to be true. Lasted for 6 weeks before it stopped charging. After one month it’s not possible to return it. Shame as it worked well until it broke.
