Vacuflo Genuine 7352-30 On/Off Hose with Prongs 30ft

Having used a similar hose for the past 25 years that was provided with a Vacuflo Central Vacuum system, this item was almost a direct replacement when the original unit began to have low voltage power connection problems with it's handle's slip rings to activate the central vacuum system. It is a bit stiffer that the original, and about 5 feet shorter, but works just fine and is a direct replacement for the original. Would recommend for anyone who might need a new hose. ONE CAVEAT: BEWARE THAT YOU PURCHASE THE CORRECT UNIT FOR REPLACEMENT! THIS ONE HAS TW0 CONTACT PINS THAT PLUG INTO THE WALL FITTING. THE NEWER SYSTEMS APPARENTLY USE A SLIP RING POWER CONNECTION TO THE ACTUAL HOSE ITSELF WHEN THE HOSE IS CONNECTED TO THE WALL OUTLET.

My first one broke. The hose split where it connects to the handle. It works great.

My original hose would no longer turn on. I tested across the two plugin prongs with the switch in the on and off position and it was open. Then I tested the switch and it opened and closed. So, the problem was the wiring in the hose. The only fix is a replacement of the hose and this was an exact original replacement for my original. Plugged it in and it was back to vacuuming. I did save the sock from the original. A bit of work to pull it off the old and put it on the new one, but the sock is surprisingly expensive.
