I have read a number of reviews on this product where they are upset that it doesn't work on the Surface Pro 3. I bought this specifically for my Surface Pro 3 and it works perfectly. I wonder if the bad reviews are because they are trying to get multiple displays to work from this one device, which it will NOT do. It is a single monitor adapter.If you want multiple monitors you will need to get the Surface Pro 3 docking station which will allow for multiple displays. I do use a docking station with dual monitors, one of which is attached to this adapter. It works great.I am planning on purchasing more of these adapters as I continue to add Surface Pro 3 machines to my environment.

Unlike the other reviewer I am not having success getting this to work with the Surface Pro 3. I typically use a docking station but even connected directly to the SP3 there are no devices detected under the 'project' tab using the DVI and HDMI ports. I may consider exchanging this for another and give is a 2nd try.. I'll post an update.UPDATE: I had a little more time to mess around today and I can get this to work on EITHER dvi OR hdmi but the SP3 will not detect both monitors (hdmi and dvi) .. maybe the device is not meant to do this??? If any more tech savvy reviewers want to jump in I would appreciate the troubleshoot.UPDATE II: It's amazing what you can learn from reading the description. Apparently this is not what I need for the setup I am trying to run. I ordered this product for use with my Surface Pro 3. The HDMI port never worked, and the VGA worked for all of 10 minutes and then the signal was dropped to the projector in the middle of my presentation. I thought it was just an issue with the projector, and then the same thing happened at a 2nd customer site. I was close to a Microsoft store, and they were able to trouble shoot that the Surface Pro was working fine, and when I switched over to a different adapter, the video output worked just fine. When we tried to put this adapter back on, the monitor went blank. I bought a Belkin adapter and it has been working perfectly for 2+ weeks now. This one is going back...

The device I thought would allow for multiple monitors to connect at the same time... however I tried it with both a Windows laptop and tablet and both only worked for a single output at a time.There fore it is a good single port replicator to one of three options, but it is not a multiplexer to three options.

Well, got about 2 hrs out of this device total and it died. I carry it in my pack with my Surface Project for departmental meetings ...maybe 10 minutes of use at a time. This last time....dead. I've bought another on and I'll see how it does. Will update. Don't do it just yet.

This works flawlessly with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3! Just plug it in! I have plugged into each of the three connections on various Monitors and Projectors.

This is a very compact adapter and it does exactly what I needed to do. I plugged it into my Surface Pro 3 and then plugged and HDMI cable into the adapter...and the cable into the high definition TV....was able to stream a HD movie from Amazon to the TV, no problem.

The Bosejet mini-multi adaptor isn't as small as each individual apple adaptor, but is much smaller than all three carried together. It's super nice to just throw one adaptor into my travel bag... If Bosejet makes one for the iPad I'll buy it immediately
