Requisite Goods Aromatic Cedar Suit Coat Hangers - 3pk

When they arrived, I thought I made a good purchase. The cedar was nice, and it had a larger shoulder width then any others I have seen. It seemed like it would be perfect for hanging my suits. I guess if you like to hang your suits on the floor; these would be a great purchase.The first issue was with keeping the pants on the hanger. It is a small issue that is easily rectified. I didn’t let it bother me and found ways to keep the pants from slipping off (usually). The main issue is when the hooks started breaking out of the wood. They are just screwed in, so when this happens they are done. It only took a couple weeks for all of them to fall apart. You can fix it by gluing them back in (I don’t know how long this will last), but the bottom line is I shouldn’t have to expect to repair an item that I bought. This can easily be fixed in production and would make the difference between a crappy item and an amazing one.

Terrible quality. Do not buy these hangers. Glued joints on main cedar hanger frame were not completely filled and finished. Glue had run out of some of the joints and was not removed. Pant hanger bar is nailed to main hanger frame by a single wire brad. Beveled angles on pant hanger bar do not match up with angle of main body of hanger. Purchased six of these hangers and on half of the hangers there is an 1/16 of an inch or more between the pant hanger bar and the frame of the hanger. Also found the pant hanger bar was not sanded smooth. Had to do this myself. While sanding on one of the pant bars it broke were the brad was nailed. DO NOT BUY THESE CEDAR HANGERS. IF AMAZON WANTS TO SELL "SECONDS" AT LEAST IT SHOULD IDENTIFY THE PRODUCT AS SECONDS. Al - Benton Harbor, Michigan

I didn't experience any shoddy construction; these seem well-made. Although, the hook is indeed screwed into the wood, so I've been purposefully gentle with it just in case (but mine weren't loose). Like others mentioned, there is no curve/angle to the shoulders. Very little cedar smell - but on the other hand, I'm actually pretty suspicious when a cedar product is overpoweringly cedar-smelling; they are likely scented with oils.For the money - these aren't bad.

Fast delivery and product is exactly what was advertised. I plan to put more for my other suits!

Some hangers don't stay connected to the wooden portion.

Picture shows a hanger with wide shoulder ends, like for a men's suit. What was delivered was a narrow cedar hanger. So, I went to Men's Warehouse. It cost more, but it is exactly what I was looking for.

Excellent Size and Shoulder Width

The quality is abysmal. If they do not arrive broken, they will surely break with any use. Pin nails with no glue and poor joint structure.
