Gentle and Effective Support for Hairball Control
This Vet’s Best Cat Hairball Relief Digestive Aid has worked well for my cat. It’s easy to administer and seems gentle on digestion. Since using it regularly, I’ve noticed fewer hairball issues and less coughing or gagging overall. I like that it’s vet formulated and designed to support digestion while helping manage hairballs, rather than just masking the problem. My cat tolerates it well and has had no issues taking it. Overall, this is a helpful and reliable product for cats prone to hairballs. It’s easy to use, effective, and a good option for ongoing hairball support as part of regular care.

Lifesaver for my cats during shedding season — gentle and effective!
I bought this Vet’s Best Hairball Relief Digestive Aid a few months ago after one of my cats started coughing and hacking frequently due to hairballs. After doing some research, I wanted something natural, veterinarian formulated, and easy to administer without upsetting my cat’s sensitive stomach. I’m so glad I found this product! First of all, the tablets are a great size and are easy to crumble if your cat doesn’t like chewing them directly. One of my cats eats them like treats thanks to the chicken flavor, while the other is a bit picky, so I crush the tablet and mix it with a little wet food. Both methods have worked perfectly. I started noticing results within a week or so — less coughing, no more hacking noises, and overall they seem much more comfortable. What I really appreciate about this product is the ingredients. It’s made with Slippery Elm and Psyllium Seed which are known to be natural digestive aids, and I feel confident giving it to my cats regularly. I usually give them the tablets during heavy shedding seasons like spring and fall, and the difference it makes is obvious. The price is also very reasonable for how many tablets you get (180 per bottle). This bottle will last me months even with daily use for two cats. Plus, I’ve seen no side effects, and both of my cats have tolerated them very well. In short, if your cats suffer from hairballs or seasonal shedding issues, this is definitely worth trying. It’s effective, gentle, and affordable — exactly what I was hoping for. I plan to keep this on hand year-round from now on. Highly recommend!

It works great!!!!
I have NOT seen any hairballs since giving this to my cat for a month now! Not once have i seen her vomit or hack or dry heave at least not in my presence now she used to do it all the time since she is a big grooming shorthair Tuxedo. She loves the taste. I was worried she wouldnt take to it and have to sneak it in her wet food but NO she thinks she rewarded with treats! Great product highly recommend. BIG DIFFERENCE and i dont leave reviews

An Honest Review
Get ready for a lengthy review but I promise it is worth it! So I am writing this review after using this product for a few months now, I wanted to wait for a certain period of time to pass to see if there were any results after using this product and I can assure you that there was! So for context: I own two beautiful cats that I have rescued that have two very different personalities, one sheds like there is NO tomorrow and the other one does not. Of course being they are both cats they love to clean themselves, quite literally all the time which resulted in hairballs. The one who does not shed near as much has a few health issues involving his stomach and nasal cavities, both of my cats have extremely sensitive stomachs so I wanted to find a product that could work for both of them equally without causing issues! The picture above is three different products I use including the one that I’m currently writing the review on. This product has done wonders for me and my fur babies! This product alongside the other ones I have bought reduced the amount of hairballs I was experiencing, keep in mind that I was experiencing around 2-3 hairballs every other day but definitely 1 hairball every day. As I’m sure many of you know, coming home after a long day and having to clean hairballs out of carpet is not an easy task to do. After a few months of using this as well as trying the other two products featured in the picture I have seen a significant improvement from both of my cats! So here is my routine and what works for me: in the morning I use a pill crusher to crush the pill and put it into each of their food bowls, I mix the pill fragments in with their food. Then in the evening time, I squeeze a few drops of the liquid product into their food bowls. Neither one of them have had issues with eating their food since I’ve started all of this, in fact I’ve noticed they seem more excited to eat! One of my cats LOVES treats while the other does not, so sometimes I will drop the treat product into the pickier one’s bowl so that he will eat it while I feed the other one the treat product at random since he will eat it on the spot. Of course I highly recommend consulting with your veterinarian if you have one for more information in regards to your pet’s health and or condition!

Good but my cat stopped eating them after finishing 1 bottle
This product does work when your cat actually likes to eat them lol. I give it 3 just bc they are a bit big for my cat and when i split them up into smaller bites she still seems uninterested with the taste and smell. She finished the first bottle just fine but now on the 2nd one she got bored of the taste. Id love if yall could inhance the flavor/smell to something more appealing to a cat for a longer period of time. Love the product though💗

BEST FORMULA EVER - I'm saving a fortune on paper towels thanks to these!!!
I know this is a long review but I hope it helps another cat parent who's trying to help their pet. We adopted our now 11 year old Russian Blue mix four years ago & she's thrown up food for that entire time - not every meal but at least 3 to 5 times a week - I used to bring the calendars to her vet to show how many times it happened. I brush her every other day & she has a hairball literally only a couple times a year. The vomiting was never specific to a certain food (believe me, I tried to figure that out). And nothing has come back in her blood work or any other scans to show what the problem is. I've tried Laxatone, Capilex, and a few other vet recommended remedies, all to no avail. I decided to purchase this for her because I use psyllium myself & know that the other ingredients in this formula are good for digestion. She's been on these now for 3 weeks - the only accident happened a few hours after her 1st dose... she pooped in the middle of the floor, a few rooms away from her litter box. She never goes outside the box. I can only thinks the psyllium must have started to work more suddenly than she was ready for. But that's been the only accident and it didn't stopped her from eating these - I crush 1 tablet in her dish in the morning & crush a 2nd for her to have in the afternoon. She loves them! And she HAS NOT thrown up any food since the day I started giving these to her. That is a record for her in the four years I've known her!! I have these on my subscribe & save & will be buying them monthly for her from now on. Vet's Best Hairball Relief Digestive Aid, 60 Chewable Tablets UPDATE 4/12/16 - she's been on these daily now for about 2 months. In that time, she's thrown up food only one time. And she hasn't pooped outside of her box again. She usually laps up the 1st crushed tablet of the day readily but if she doesn't, just adding a treat on top of it does the trick. I also give her wet food (instead of dry) for the evening meal & if she hasn't eaten her 2nd crushed tablet in the afternoon on it's own, I mix it into the wet food & she gets the dose that way. Absolutely LOVE this stuff....and so does my cat!!! UPDATE 10/27/16 - so after about 6 or 7 months, I'm now giving her just one daily crushed up and mixing into her evening canned food. I always add a little water into it too so the food becomes kind of a slurry and she's happy to lap it up. And just getting 1 tablet a day is keeping her hairball-free - she hasn't spontaneously thrown up food now since I don't even remember when! That's a BIG DEAL - I have this on my subscribe & save & will definitely buy it for the rest of her life!

Old formula was GREAT. New formula takes more than twice as many pills to do the job.
*** UPDATE April 2016 *** Downgraded from 5 stars to 1 - would be 0 if I could. This new formula doesn't do the same job as the old formula. I was using a 2-to-1 ratio, meaning 2 of the new tablets when I used to use 1, but that isn't enough. I'm trying 2.5-to-1 PLUS 1/2 tsp Hairball Relief oil from Pet Naturals. One poor kitty developed pretty severe constipation as I was switching him over to the new formula (probiotics and extra oil helped). I used to crush the pills and dissolve them in water. They loved the "drink" it made and drank an extra 2-3oz water with each meal. Critical for kitties with renal issues. They also did something similar to their urinary tract support formula. I bought out all the old formula of that I could find. Now I have to do that with this stuff. I have no idea how I'm going to get all the water in them they need now. It's very dry here in California and our kitties have renal issues. This stuff was a godsend that helped both their kidneys and their coats. This is terrible. *** UPDATE April 2015 *** First, the company must be reading the reviews. The pills are still the same size but are now soft enough to break them in half with your hand. Even better, though, having to use the herb crusher for these pills resulted in an amazing benefit for the kitties. We have 2 cats with UT and renal issues, plus it's just been so dry here in CA, so I add water to their canned food. They won't drink it unless I flavor the water. I was using tuna, but that wasn't ideal because of the salt. Mixing the powdered pills with the water results in a "drink" they LOVE!! Our vet has been very impressed, and no more of the dry hacking and dry, itchy, skin! This may have saved our oldest kitty. I couldn't be more thankful. *** Original review *** Bought the first bottle to try and our cats loved them. I bought 2 more and found out they changed the formula. They're much thicker and harder than they were before. Our cats couldn't eat them anymore! And these are very big cats - 15lb and 18lb kitties. They're too big for my pill splitter, so I had to get an herb grinder to first crush them before the cats could eat them. It takes a lot of time and strength. The old pills could be easily broken up with your fingers if needed. Bring back the original formula!
