These are fantastic. I woukd say I love round decks and I do but I am discerning even if just to my own taste. What I am trying to say is i dont just buy every round deck just because it is round and ohh and awe over it. This deck is structured well. It has good imagery and symbols. The book is a must. Well for me anyway I always like to know the creators thoughts. You could certainly read without it though. This was also the best new price I coukd fine. I may purchase a spare.

You get the whole enchilada here and I am glad I got the set. Its good to have the book with the deck.

I got one of these decks at a trade show about a year ago but it didn't have a book with it - this new set just came out and I LOVE the book. The pages are all glossy and it's got full color images of each card, and the writing is great. Really insightful. I love the cards and they are one of the decks I use most often. They are multicultural, which is great, and multigenerational. And the art is so colorful and beautiful. She uses a lot of quotes in the book from some interesting artists (for example, Beth Ditto from the Gossip!). Anyways, it's a great set.

This 2nd edition is much more in-depth than the first edition. The updated book gives greater insight to the cards and the cards themselves are exquisite. Kate Silver has done an amazing job showcasing the many stages and perspectives of human life and does so with such vibrant color and such love. I found the commentary on the cards to be very helpful and love the way she directs users to their own inner-wisdom. She has obviously had a depth of experience studying with both Stan Grof and Ralph Metzner, two giants in the world of transpersonal growth. Their introductions were great but the real value is in the wonderful cards which have such a benign clarity.
