Another great installment
Ever since the the first book in the series my 10 year old was anxiously awaiting the Case in China. The storyline and the characters have been beautifully presented and the author does a wonderful job of keeping it moving. For us, the value of this series has been to present our young girls with exciting and active role models while learning a bit of history at the same time. We got a copy for our school library as well! Thanks.

My daughter is loving them
I was hesitant to buy these books because it is hard to find a book that my daughter likes- so, I just ordered the first two. My daughter is 6 y.o. with a high reading level, but gets frustrated with chapter books at her reading level. On top of that, she is really intrigued by non-fiction books - so, fiction falls flat with her - unless it is a film/show. She devoured these in a quarter of the amount of time that she typically reads other books - and asked me to buy her the rest of the series. Although it is more affordable to buy the whole set, I am buying them 1-2 books at a time.I am glad I got these.

Great for young readers
This is a nice little book for young readers. Main characters are three young Muslim girls who meet up with Zheng He, the famous 15th Chinese admiral and explorer who also happened to be Muslim. They all wear the hijab but otherwise are quite assertive. Each of the girls has a special power which they each use to get out of trouble. This part of an extensive series featuring girls. The book is certainly good for building the self esteem of Muslim girls and women. It is all a good read for new readers.
