I needed to replace a rigid supply line with a flexible hose; otherwise, installation was simply a matter of following the clear, concise instructions. Easy and effective to use - I wish I'd purchased one decades ago.

I heard about this from a neighbor. We ordered one right away, and we loved it so much, we ordered another. It was very easy to install, and reasonably priced.

creates dirty space between seat and doesn't fit properly. it bends between the seat and could crack and flood your entire house. also cold only water too cold during winter. too late to return.

The item pictured is not the item you will receive. Despite the gray top and metallic-like nob, what I found in my package from Amazon was totally white plastic, so if you're purchasing this item for its aesthetics relative to other bidets, be aware that it looks as cheap as the rest in this price range.As well, it's important to note that the parts provided are minimal. With other bidets, you will be provided with numerous parts and attachments for making the bidet work with your setup, but here there is one hose, one y-connector and you better hope it fits. In the case of my bathroom, the y-connector does not fit so I'm stuck going to a hardware store.I'll update this review when I do that, but at this point I'm feeling dejected enough that this review needs to exist before everything's properly installed.

I generally like this unit, it installs easily and provides a great clean. Not having hot water isn't a problem (ambient temperature outside doesn't get lower than 40F or so, and the room temperature is 60-70F).The biggest flaw of the unit is that it installs poorly on any toilet that is outfitted with Kohler quick-release seats. The mounting plate is too narrow under the quick-connect clip. As a result, whenever the seat is lifted, the clip must be re-fastened after it is lowered, or else the seat will wiggle and the clip will eventually break. I plan to fix this by shimming a small piece of metal between the clip and bracket.This is something that blue bidet should provide for (having the adjustable mounting plate be about 3/4" wider would work great)
