Product showed up in perfect condition. Took 30 sec to put together and was extremely obvious.Mower turns on instantly and is plenty powerful enough for even tallish grass. The bag on the mower is pretty tiny and kinda annoying, but if you don't use it, it's completely fine. I can easily have a conversation with someone while mowing, and while its not as fast as my gas mower, I bought this new for $70, it works more than well enough, and its much much better for the environment. Make sure you buy a outdoor use extension cable. Not only will it be much safer to use, but its about 80% lighter than your typical extension cord, and trust me, you'll really appreciate that. Also typically very bright colors so you don't accidentally run it over. Its very easy to keep the cable out of the way, and it does come with cable management clips.Conclusion, takes some getting used to, but for the extremely low price, massive noise decrease, and doing just the smallest amount to help the environment (unlike garbage Amazon over here, I mean F**** that dude am I right? )... When my kid was 3 we got him a small toy Dyson vacuum. It looked like the real vacuum, but didn't have the suction to lift a cotton ball off a hardwood floor. This lawn mower is basically the same thing.I have 3 acres which are mostly cut with a lawn tractor, but there is a small 10x10' area that it can't get to. I got tired of weedeating the area and kicking all the grass into the garden and pool, so decided to get a small mower.On arrival, everything seemed ok. The mower is incredibly light and very easy to assemble. (2 screws and a handle and you are ready to go). Unfortunately, when it came time to mow actual grass, it all went to heck. The grass in this area was at about 3-4". I raised the wheels as much as possible to give the mower the best chance; however, it constantly bogged down and shut itself off over and over. Every time it would shut down, I'd have to wait 5 minutes, fire it up again, then mow another few feet until it would shut itself down again. All in all, it took over an hour to mow this tiny area. Upon finishing, I promptly disassembled the mower and returned it to its box from whence it came.

I’ve really enjoyed this mower. I’ve tried a couple of others that I had to return because the blades just weren’t sharp enough and I had to go over the grass more than once just to cut. I did both front and back lawns and this mower was great. Can figure out height adjustment but that’s because I don’t want to read the manual. But it cuts pretty well for the price and size. My yard is small to medium size 600 sqft

This little mower works great!!I live in a mobile home community and we don't have much front and backyard to mow. I had like 2 months grass cutting to catch up on after I sold my gas lawnmower.I saw and read the reviews before I bought mine and someone was saying the handle would not stay attached to the grass bag. So I could see what they were talking about when my mower arrived and was putting it together.I figured out that inside the 2 small slits where the one end of the handle fits, take a Flathead screwdriver and "gently" move the plastic pieces to the left and right insides in the slots to where you can't see them anymore to get them out of the way and you will be able to push the end of the handle down inside and it will lock... :) Hope this helps on info.But no complaints at my end on this mower. I was a little leery of buying an electric mower but glad I did.Took me 5 mins to assemble...I can mow my lawns with one finger pushing the mower cause its so lightweight. Blade underneath cuts perfect. dragging the extension cord around is kind of a pain but no problem working with doing that. Thank you American Mower for making this little mower... It's PERRRRRFECT!
