Very useful product
I have used this for years and consider it the best all-purpose glue on the market. It is strong and water-resistant. If you put it on two surfaces and let it dry a short time, it is an excellent contact cement. It goes on easily, although you should take care to apply it only where you need it - it is tough to remove. Be sure to clean the top before putting the cap back on, or else you will need a good pair of pliers to remove the cap the next time. If you only use it occasionally, the product tends to harden over time after opening, although you can usually salvage some of the contents by poking through the product at the top of the tube with a strong toothpick or thin metal shaft. Even with the handling issues, this is a product I use often and keep in stock.

worked on my new plastic gas cans...
Bought a bunch of Scepter 5 gal plastic gas cans and had to re-do the nozzles ( replaced them entirely, you should too) and then create a new vent hole too on all of them. This adhesive is strong and leak proof and what else do you need. Those new Scepter gas cans are a pain to use- all that safety garbageThey sell gas can nozzle kits just for this. Then you don't need THREE hands to pour the gas out (:Hopefully the adhesive will last a long time too.

Awesome stuff
This stuff works as advertised. I had a broken part in the bowl of my carburetor and glued it back on. The part dried on as hard a a rock. left the gas in the carb to check the part for days and still never fell off. I was sceptical but if your on the fence buy it.

Did Not Work For Me.
I bought this Seal-All adhesive to seal a hole I made in a plastic gas can to accommodate a vent cap. The Seal-All adhesive is said to be gasoline resistant. I followed the instructions on the package to the letter. But the Seal-All did not seal the vent cap and I had to scrap the gas can.I do realize that the product failure could be my own error in drilling the hole for the vent cap. But I can't rate the product any higher than a "maybe", as I've not had the opportunity to try it on anything else.

Real problem solver.
I used this stuff back in the early 80's on a cut in a waterbed mattress and was astounded when it worked and stayed working until we got rid of the bed. I will now try it on my anti-freeze overflow reservoir that a vandal punctured. Will update once I get the job done. Applied a little on the top of the reservoir to see if it would adhere to the plastic and it adhered, so am hoping for success.

no signs that the tear is getting worse.
I used this to prevent a motorcycle seat tear from continuing to tear. It has been working very well, even with a passenger, no signs that the tear is getting worse.

Didn't work for my problem
Had to replace a gas line on a string trimmer that passed through the gas tank. The replacement hose was just a bit smaller than the original, allowing gas to seep out when the tank was filled.I purchased this product after reading the reviews. I cleaned off the hose and the area of the tank where it passed through with a good degreaser, let it dry for about 1/2 hour, then applied the sealant. Waited over 24 hours before putting gas in the tank. As soon as I filled the tank, gas began seeping from between the hose and the sealant instead of between the hose and the tank.Seems like it will be a good adhesive for other uses, just not the one I bought to use it on.

Works
I read on Google that the reason there was a air vacuum on my 2003 Chevy S10 truck was the possibility of air escaping around the gas tank cap and to put this around the pipe I did and I have no more air leak saved a lot of money!!!
