definitely a good book for anyone just starting to draw. it covers all the basics and helps you know where or how to start. I personally dont feel i benefitted, just cuz 1- i didnt realize how much of a beginner level book this would be and 2- i wanted to revisit basic tecniques and I guess I underestimated myself cuz it seems i already know these basics. it covers all drawing subjects from landscapes to people to animals though so I liked that aspect even if I was familiar with all the techniques

What an incredible and amazing book! Chelsea really breaks it down step by step when it comes to Modern Drawing! I absolutely love the variety of sections/projects this book has from everyday life to people to plants! Incredible details and steps. Well done Chelsea!

Enjoyable read and pictures. I liked the moka pot and tea cup drawings. Would've liked more theory re. lip of the cup. Bur, I guess it goes back to draw what you see and not draw symbols.Would like to see another book geared to that "coffee house" verve.

A lot of great information with example for beginners to more seasoned artist. Easy to read and start on example in the book. This is a winner for me.

I just loved the way the illustration was so easy to follow along. I’ve been working on a sketchbook now and looking forward to it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to draw.
