Best for small children or dogs.
This product is easy to install and the adhesive works great. The only problem is that my toddler is strong enough to just force the toilet seat open which has ruined my toilet seat and made it really loose. The gray piece shown in the photo next to the toilet tank is a hard rubber (as to not scratch the tank) and if you pull hard enough it’ll just slide down and you can open the lid. I’m sure this would be better for smaller children but my 20 month old just hulks out and is very strong.

Preferred toilet lock
I've had multiple toilet locks considering this is our 3rd time having babies in the house. By far, I like this model best. Easy for the older kids, and older generation, to lock and unlock. I do advise when installing to be more fearful of leaving a little too little room between it and the water reservoir as opposed to a little too much space between it and the reservoir. The first instillation I placed it a little too close and that caused that one not to fully lock because it didn't have enough room to fully straighten. But that was my fault. Also would like to note that the adhesive has held strongly and we're 3 months in.

Even worked on the washer!
We have purchased 4 of these so far! They are fabulous! They make locking the toilet so simple and our 1 and 2.5 year old haven't figured them out yet! We even added one to our front loading washer as a way to safely leave the door open without the risk of our children being able to shut themselves inside. Our washer molds almost immediately if we leave the door closed, this was a great solution!
