No itching and no other reactionsYou just need your cornrows and your hook which is provided and you are ready for installThe hair also still looks good after using it twice for installJust used sulfate free shampoo and keeping the hair for future useI bought the blackI wish other colors like 4/30, 1/99,1b/99 were availableI used about 170-180 strands for a full head so it would look good whether up or down. That is about 7-8 packs. I ordered both 18 and 22 inches so that length would be even when the braids are left outI would like to possibly video review the hair in the other colors that they have so that people will think of it as their go to hair.This hair did not disappoint.Received many many compliments for the two installs that I did
