FobusRU1 Standard Holster for Ruger P85, P89, P91, Right Hand Paddle

It does the job well as a budget tactical holster for a gun that has been out of production for years. My only gripe is that inserting the pistol is actually more difficult than removing it. Also, removing the weapon at an angle is very possible for someone with average strength (think adult male 6'), so it's not as secure as other tactical holsters. It's quite comfortable to wear. No complaints there.It does hold the weapon securely enough for day to day, just be aware of your surroundings (as you should be!).

I wasnt as impressed with the fit of the weapon to the holster.

The holster is way too small for my Ruger P89 pistol. I will have to return it. It appears to be well made but, just not the right size to meet my needs.

This holster is a piece of junk.It was not intended as an EDC holster, but I was hoping to carry my ole P91 DC on short walks and errands.As it turns out, this holster is useless and is in the trash bin.The pistol fit so tight, that the slide wanted to push back along the frame. Then, I could not remove the gun from the holster. Instead, I had to hold the pistol and holster upside down and pound the holster on the edge of the bench in order to remove the gun.The fasteners are rivets and there is no possibility of adjustment. Therefore, there is no possible way to draw the firearm if needed.Waste of money.
