Wonderful
"National Geographic: The Photographs" is a visual odyssey that speaks volumes. This collection is more than just a tribute to the art of photography; it's a testament to the power of visual storytelling. Beautiful pictures
Beautiful pictures. There is also a short description about the pictures and the date it was taken. I’m glad I read the reviews and bought the paper back, which is much bigger than hard cover. Exactly what I was looking for.

Great book of National Geographic photography
I enjoy this book and the amazing photos, especially the cover photo of the girl from Afghanistan. I do so enjoy the amazing photos from National Geographic, they take us everywhere without leaving our home, so important during this Covid pandemic.

Beautiful book, but kind of tiny...
I got this book, with one of National Geographic's most famous and stunning photos gracing its cover, as a gift for my daughter, a photography major in college. I suppose I should have paid more attention to the description: I had no idea that it was a small format. I guess I recalled the coffee table book that featured the same cover photo and thought this would be that size. Turns out, if you check the description section on this book -- which I only just did for this review -- that it's 8.6 x 6.7 x 1 inches. As I say, who knew?

It’s a small book
This book does not do the photographs justice. Approx. 6” X 6”. Photos are often split across pages and it’s just not as impressive as it could have been. Was disappointed.

I most certainly hope she was compensated for this beautiful photo. I'd be a total shame if she ...
The only reason I bought this book was because of the 'Afghan Girl' on the front & back covers. I did read the warning that the book was quite small but thanks to the people who wrote that.....I didn't get a shock. I used to have that issue of the magazine and somehow misplaced or lost it.I most certainly hope she was compensated for this beautiful photo. I'd be a total shame if she was not.I talked to the people at Nat. Geo and they were out of that issue and if I could get it the price of $10.95 when it came back in.
