I got the shoulder one and loved it till a seam failed and the insides started coming out only six weeks after getting it. One design change I would make would be to isolate individual "pockets" As it is all pockets are ported with each other and the contents run/migrate downhill, think gravity. You're constantly squeezing here and there to move the contents from overfilled spaces back empty parts. No doubt this contributed to the failed seam.

I had a rotator cuff injury and used this to reduce swelling by freezing it and wearing it before bedtime. After getting it into position, it stayed in place and did it's job. The cuff is large enough to apply cold to the upper arm, back and chest surrounding the shoulder, which was perfect for my type of injury. I would recommend this wrap over others I have tried.I am not a paid reviewer. I purchase merchandise from Amazon on a weekly basis. I wait until I have used the product to form an honest opinion of it before posting a review. I will answer questions unless I feel the seller should respond.

Ice on a sore shoulder is great! I've been using a lot as I work through an injured "frozen" shoulder. I have a collection of options so I'm sure one is always cold. This one is good as it covers a lot of area but straps on so you can move around while wearing it. It is a little stiff. The velcro is difficult to release & re-fasten, but I found I could just leave it fastened if I put my arm through the small strap first then stretched the big strap over my head & other arm & across my chest. I use it over a t-shirt or put a washcloth under it or both. You probably won't want it right on your skin.

Nice, heavy duty ice pack, but I'm a small boned woman, 120 lbs., a little to much weight and size for me. Wish they made it in smaller sizes for smaller individuals, but I would recommend it if you are larger in size with shoulder swelling.

I had this for about 9 months and the beads started falling out and leaking in the freezer. I used it once or twice a day. It doesn’t stay cold very long either once you take it out of the freezer. Works okay, for pain relief. I have bursitis so I use this after a workout. The beads move from one section and tend to all bunch up at the bottom. So you have to push them back every time which is annoying. It should have separate sections to contain the beads and spread them out evenly. Disappointed it didn’t even last a year.

Nice coverage that keeps all the right spots cold for me. Can be used on either shoulder. Pearl gel doesn't get too stiff or hard in the freezer. Easy to put on and straps are adjustable. It stays put if you walk around. I have rotator cuff pain from sleeping on my stomach and I have noticed improvement using this before bed and whenever I'm really sore. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it would be nice to have some kind of thin removable fabric cover. It's not that it's too cold without a cover, but sometimes it comes out of the freezer covered in frozen condensation. As it warms up the condensation melts a little and drops of water roll off the plastic. Not so much that my shirt gets wet.. It really doesn't bother me much. Some might find it annoying. You can always wrap a thin dish towel around it. Despite the lack of a cover, I highly recommend the TheraPearl Shoulder a Wrap for shoulder pain.

This sits on my shoulder really well. It was the only one I could find that covers all the parts I need for my tendonitis. I do wish it stayed cold longer, that there weren't so many gaps between pieces, and that it covered more on the arm parts.
