Of all the Ghirardelli chocolates, my husband and I love this one the best! Dark chocolate is healthier than milk chocolate so we don’t feel as bad about putting them in our (after dinner) “bin of sin” refrigerator drawer. We each get one square for desert and we make sure to eat them slowly to savor the delicious flavor!

When Consumer Reports revealed that dark chocolate bars contain lead and that our favorite, Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate bars contained great amounts of lead, we decided to buy the dark chocolate bar that Consumer Reports said had the least amount of lead and that the Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Bars. They are delicious -- but very expensive compared to Trader Joe's bars. But we wanted to minimize the amount of lead we consumer each day since we are dark chocolate lovers.

I needed some large chocolate bars to include in gifts for co-workers. I only needed 11, but this pack of 12 was less expensive than buying 11 at Target or Walmart. So I got to keep one for myself. I'd never had this flavor of Ghirardelli chocolate before. It was so good, and tasted better than a different brand I sampled first.
