Complaints about low quality screws included.
Great product, great price. I read a review about screws shaping off in wood. As a woodworker I can tell you that the best screws in the world will snap like crackers if you don't drill the appropriate diameter and depth pilot holes first. Even then if you drive them in with a drill driver too fast or deep this can still happen, especially into oak or other hard and dense woods and other materials. A little paraffin wax applied to the screws helps immensely. The included screws are high quality 👌

Used on battery box
These are great straps and quick and easy to use.The plastic buckles on the straps that came with my new battery boxes are a joke and a pain in the………you know what I mean.

Seriously thought out!
Absolute quality and a great choice for securing your portable tank. Only other feature I could suggest would be a way to avoid theft of the tank.

The screws will snap in half if the material they are going into is hard.
These were purchased because of the metal hold downs which were great. The reason the review is only three stars is because the screws are terrible. Three of them broke off in the wood they were being screwed into. I had to waste time unscrewing what was left of them with a pair of vise grips, then I had to drive to the store to get some good screws. If the manufacturer is reading this, I know you want to save money, but I think I and anyone else purchasing this product would happily pay an extra nickel or dime so you could put good screws that don't snap in half in the package. Then instead of getting three star reviews from people who have to waste a half an hour in the middle of a project driving to get replacement screws, you would have all five star reviews from people who got the job done in 15 minutes.

Exactly what it says it is.
Plenty long to strap down your pontoon gas tank.

It Works!
I have purchased many Atwood products, it's a name you can trust in. I used this strap on a 6 gal tank, the strap cinches up tight as it should. The brackets are made with rounded corners(radiuses) just what I would expect from Atwood so there is chaffing or cutting on the strap. Very pleased, all A's here.

EXCELLENT
I PUT IN AN EXTRA 6 GAL. IN MY NEW MAKO 15FT SKIFF AND I BOUGHT THIS STRAP TO KEEP IT FROM SLIDING AROUND.HONESTLY THIS ON IS THICKER AND THE BUCKLE IS BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN THE ONE THAT CAME WITH THE BOAT. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Serves it's intended purpose!
Easy to install, all necessary hardware included (stainless steel) secures my fuel tank without worry of it traveling around inside the boat. I'm sure this strap and hardware could have other uses as well. Definitely worth the purchase!
