My older dog started having seizures, so I wanted a way to ensure she didn't accidentally fall off the bed during a seizure. This works perfect for that, it holds her in and keeps her secure. It was easy to install, I have a queen pillow-top mattress on an IKEA wood frame, I just screwed the bed rail to the frame and that is sufficient to hold it.

Great product!!! Yes, this is one side, people have to read carefully, and tge price is fair for ONE side. If you"ll look in target or walmart or any otger similar product online, you'll find short small pieces of plastic stuff that does't even cover the matress for 40 $ and up. I am writing a review for the first time ever, but since my 9 months old is rolling all over the bed, this rail is the best thing I ever purchased. Great GREAT quality, probably the best on a market!!! Totally worth it, super strong and looks nice also!!!

Idea is great and it serves the purpose of preventing the child from falling out of the bed.We bought one side of queen size. We put the two metal bars in between mattress and bed frame. It stays but when my child (22lb baby) leans forward standing and holding the top bar, it leans about 30 degree angle forward so i have tied the two standing bars to each ends of standing part of bed frame. I am using the attached pocket to put diaper and wipe for in case of night time diaper change. We are glad we bought this but for the price we paid, it required much additional work to use it.

The rail is long enough to go from the head of the bed to the foot of the bed. Much better for transitioning toddlers from cribs to beds.

Bought this to go on a bottom bunk to contain 2 16 month old twins. It completely filled the space from the top bunk down and only left about a 4 inch space at one end which we filled with a wood strip. Since the backside of the bed was against a wall, this allowed the bottom bunk to function as an oversized baby bed without Grammy and Papaw having to set up two baby beds! Raising and lowering the top rail operates simply and smoothly with the touch of a button at each end. Excellent investment that can be used for years to come.

I like that the side folds down, making it easy to put our son to bed and get him out. It is very sturdy. It doesn’t allow the baby to get caught between the mattress and the rail. This was definitely a very well thought out design and worth every penny.

Despite what you read in the description about 3 top rails 3 bottom rails and mesh sides - as well as the description of length for each rail, note that it is only ONE side included - not 3 as pictured or described.

I like these bed railing for several reasons. On is the fact that they are mesh so if my toddler bumps against them it does not wake her up. They are very simple to assemble and very easy to lower so baby can get out.
