I like old-fashioned toys like this tin top. Had one as child. It works well and the paint has withstood the knocks on the walls and floor.

This was a huge hit with our one year old grandson.

I buy a lot of toys for my grandson. I like the ones that are vintage and remind me of when I was a child. I like this top because I remember playing with a similar one when I was little. So I got it for Holden. It is now Holden‘s favorite toy. He gets very upset if you take it away from him. He carries it around with him everywhere. It’s really funny to watch. Anyway this is a great toy at a great price. BTW Holden is almost two years old.

It's judt like I remember when I was a kid, except for the little red plastic stand. The stand was kind of annoying at first but then I realized you can invert it and it will spin on your floor. Not sure if that's an intentional feature but it works!

Loved the music and colors. HATE the quality. We bought one in December 2019 for our g. grandson who had turned a year old in September. He LOVES things that spin. The top lasted through January. It bascially froze up. I blamed it on his Daddy for being too rough with it. So we bought another in February. Wouldn't let my Grandson (the daddy) touch it. It broke last week. Same issue. We took apart one of them to see what the issue was. If I can figure out how to add photos, you can see why it froze up. The aluminum cylinder the spiral rod goes into to turn the top ends up splitting down its seam. The more the top is used/spun the more pressure is put on the cylinder until it splits and the spiral rod hangs up. The baby actually started spinning it for himself, but since his coordination is not so great, he ends up tilting it sometimes during the pumping. I'm sure that's what contributed to the thing breaking. Anyway, it's so sad because our g. grandson LOVED that toy!!

It broke much easier than we expected. We were hoping to invest in a quality toy that would last. My son struggled to get it going fast enough without tipping it over.

It's heirloom quality. I hope that my children take care of this toy enough to pass it to their children. It's a beautiful toy. It spins on carpet or hard surfaces.

Received our old fashion spinning top and my Granddaughter just loves it!It’s easy to use and the faster it goes, produces an almost musical humming sound. Reminds me of my youth.Lovely toy! Great product!

i wish i could give this toy a 5 star rating. we got it in April for our sons birthday in July. Well now amazon states its to late to complain, but our little guy unwrapped his birthday present and only played with it for about 5 min and then rod wouldn't go in smooth any longer, so we are sitting here with a toy that didn't last a day and is no longer usable. So sad, as i really think the body of it is made very well.
