Best Diaper Rash Cream Ever! Best Vendor Ever!
Best Diaper Rash Cream Ever! Best Vendor Ever! Our baby daughter gets severe diaper rash easily. After repeated visits to the pediatrician and various prescription medications... Nothing worked so I reached out to the Babywise group that I'm a member of on social media. Someone recommended this cream... Even said her dermatologist now recommends it to his patients.... I bought the cream not thinking it would be the blessing it was but omg, you would not believe how well this stuff works. In the most extreme cases you mix it with the partner cream by Secura called Antifungal Extra Thick but only use that in conjunction with the EPC maybe twice a day and all the other diaper changes just use the EPC. Seriously, doctors need to get on board and realize how great this stuff is because none of the prescription medications they gave us worked. This is the only thing that works for our baby girl.... That leads me to the panic attack I was having right before Christmas when I realized I was almost out and needed more. I placed the order but it wasn't going to arrive until almost a week and a half later (due to the holidays) .... By this time I was really freaking out so I contacted the vendor through Amazon and asked if they could do anything to get it to me sooner.... It arrived within two days... No extra fees or anything. So yeah I'm all about the cream and the vendor!

MUST HAVE product for any diaper bag!!
I was first introduced to this product 6 years ago while working as a nurse on a medical/surgical unit. Learned quickly that it was an excellent product for incontinent patients to prevent skin breakdown and/or promote healing of existing wounds. However, I recently learned that this product also works miracles on difficult infant diaper rashes as well. When my 2 week old newborn developed a painful, irritated, raw rash on his bottom almost overnight, I tried every cream sold at the local Walmart (Desitin,Bordreaux, Monkey Butt, A&D, and Triple Paste) along with every home remedy I could find on google -all to no avail. Just as I was feeling completely helpless to my little one, I remembered Smith and Nephew EPC & decided to order some. BEST PURCHASE EVER. I noticed significant improvement of the rash within 12 hrs of liberally applying it at each diaper change (completely gone in less than 48 hrs). This cream is more expensive than most diaper creams but like the name states, it’s EXTRA protective cream and it’s EXTRA thick so I don’t use it as a daily diaper cream. Anytime I notice increased redness/irritation in his diaper area, I liberally apply it during the next 2-3 diaper changes and crisis averted!!

BEST diaper rash cream
When my son was first born he had a very bad diaper rash. We aked my husband's aunt, who works in a NICU, which diaper cream they use and she referred us to this stuff. This stuff is GREAT! I can't tell you how great this product really is. My son is very prone to diaper rashes and his rashes are pretty bad. They sometimes turn into little welts and even bleed sometimes, but from the first application, this stuff works wonders. The only bad thing about this stuff is that it's expensive. But I think it's well worth it to get rid of and prevent diaper rash. I don't use it as my go-to rash ointment, but if my son's rash is starting to develop, I'll start using it until it goes away. This stuff stays on and doesn't rub off into the diaper. It's got 30% zinc oxide, which is more than any other brand out there that I know of (Triple Paste, Desitin). I ordered the Triple Paste last week and could tell from the first application it wouldn't work as well as this stuff. I was hoping it would as it's a lot cheaper, but unfortunately it doesn't have the staying power as the EPC.You can also go to your local drugstore (CVS, Walgreens) and you can order it through the pharmacy. That's what we did the first few times, until we found it cheaper on Amazon. CVS charged us around $30 for the 7.75oz tube. But it's an option if Amazon ever runs out.

A hospital wound care center prescribed cream.
My wife had a pressure sore on her bottom from having to sit too much after having a stroke, and with a compromised immune system. Her doctor sent her to the local hospital's wound care center for treatment where she was given a large tube of this cream to apply directly to the sore each day. It contains 30% zinc oxide as the active ingredient. While you can get a diaper rash ointment that has a higher percentage of zinc ointment, it doesn't stick to the wound area like the Secura cream does. The Secura cream is nicely sticky, and adheres to the open or semi open wound very well. With telfa pad bandages and some paper tape, the sore was under control in a week or so. We continue to apply the cream daily, as she is still having to sit quite a bit on the chair and is somewhat enuretic. The cream helps protect the wound area from urine and fecal matter too. It has worked very well for us. We ordered another tube when the hospital's tube ran out. If the cream gets on underwear or clothes, as it's almost sure to do at some point, it does cause an off-white stain which can be difficult to wash out. A small price to pay for all its benefits though.

Thick, strong rash cream
When we purchased this, we didn’t realize it was primarily a diaper rash cream. We’ve purchased an ointment from the same brand and I just didn’t pay attention. Anyways, we actually use this on my daughter’s eczema. Hers is focused on the back of her knees so they constantly get irritated just from sweat and pants, etc. We use this when it’s super irritated because it is pretty strong but I don’t want her skin to grow too much of a tolerance. It works well but leaves a residue on clothes. Washes out easily though and definitely worth it when it comes to rashy skin.

Does a great job protecting skin from moisture!
This stuff is very thick (white), and difficult to wash off your hands, so I wear a glove to apply it. It does protect the skin well, so I'm glad that it is thick.
