The Art of Daniel Kiessler Paperback – February 10, 2009

I really liked this book. The art work is top notch. I've always been a fan of the use of blacks and grays versus full color and this book delivers on that. The models are beautiful and that is conveyed in the drawings.

Spin was ruined, and much lower value than comparable books of art from Frank Cho, Michael Linsner which come in a more robust format (like hard cover) and 2-3 times the content

What really prompted me to purchase this was the mention of a detailed tutorial. Detailed? no...Worth the overall purchase? I guess. The four stars are for his solid talent. It's pretty much just another artist(short)portfolio of naked women.I would have given it a 5 but it was super short and again, the book description of a great detailed tutorial was not the truth.

Just wish there was more

First, it's not in color, despite what the description says. That needs to be fixed. That said, the art is generally good. Some pages are sketches, for example page 9 is the final version of the sketch on page 8.

A collection of some of the finest illustrations that I have ever seen. All done with pencil you could be forgiven for thinking you were looking at photographs of these lovely ladies. There is a good section on how the master goes about his art.
