Great paper, high quality
It’s awesome paper. Takes water well..but be aware watercolors don’t work well on black, but gouache works great along with metallics

I have been waiting for this product. Black watercolor paper.
Watercolor paper that dries flat. Very sturdy paper. Nice texture....is different than regular 140 Cold Pressed. The portrait sketch was started with light, not detailed, water soluble Swiss made crayon. Then, a small wash of metallic watercolor ….left to dry and it dried Flat, no buckles. Next, color layers using the crayons. I plan to do next portrait with this approach, using more water with each step. Perhaps a floral. Learning new techniques helps someone like me (doing this a long time :) stay challenged. The Black paper is wonderful to work with.
